I make tincture using everclear , the usual complant with this is burning under the tunge , is their any way i can do anything to cut the burning sensation down without weakening the strengh of the tincture ?

dialute it with water 50:50

 

don't drop 95% stuff in your mouth

Evaporate it down to a thick oil, then dissolve the oil in hempseed oil.

 

I did about 3 g oil in 10 ml. 10 drops is a reasonable dose for me.

@Absurdist  How much products did you start with to get the 3g of oil?

 

I want to start using capsules to get high, but obviously with them being so small I need to make something really strong to go in them.

Jeff Ditchfield's oil tek (video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z58FiH87-6w) yields around 10-11g of oil from 100g of dry good quality bud. So I would imagine that if Absurdist used a similar technique, he started with around 30 grams of cannabis.

Good estimate, but I actually had about 50 g of substandard buds and larf. Basically needed jars so extracted a mixed batch of old stuff that I knew I would never want to smoke. Some of it was really terrible weed.

 

I've got the taste for tincture now though, 5 - 12 drops a night and I've never slept so well! 

 

Some primo bud will be getting extracted soon, in which case I'd be hoping for 10 - 15 % yield.
