Amaethon
Made three log vapes from a charity shop rolling pin Here are the progress pics. Used a 26mm forstner bit to drill out the heater well. White paper glued to tops aids drill bit centering. Base well drilled out with step for base plug. 6mm through holes drilled after I took this. Heater unit assembly. Hybrid wiring - silver plated copper/teflon coated. Ceramic Ohmite 25JRE 5W 12V does the cooking. Stainless steel heater cover with mesh debris screen installed. Hardboard base plugs and a calf leather wallet from Oxfam. Electrics installed and soldered. Add a homemade blackthorn pick/tamp, a cherry direct draw stem, an 18mm cherry WonG, a cheap Chinese bubbler and some of this season's GG'd Cream Caramel... ...and the job's a good 'un

Amaethon
Thanks @Shumroom, @zeroG for the kind words. No need for a whip. Log connects directly to the WPA. That log's made from a section of apple branch.
