LK1
Over 6 weeks ago I suspect I caught CV-19. Since then my sense has not recovered properly, as we all know this is a huge problem. Has anyone ever experienced this before? I know this probably doesn't belong in the medical cannabis forum but I wasn't sure where else to post Edited May 13, 2020 by LK1
highcontrast
A few years back i was really sick, nasty chest and sinus infection, lost my sense of smell and could only taste certain foods. It never returned, ask doctors/specialists and they just swerve the question. All of them! It’s been a few years now so I'm pretty much used to it, certain things are missed, especially the smell of our favourite plant. If you don’t have anyone else's nose at home you can borrow than you want to be changing filters religiously in line with the manufactures guidelines.
HippyHair
Fuck me the way the other half went on, you would think i had no sense of smell. My favourite smell is her worst smell, so i brought the ferrets right to the house, so far the ferret idea has worked and the amount of winging has decreased.

LK1
Initially I lost my sense of taste too but that has returned, I am hopeful that the smell does gradually too. Hey there are worse things in life but when you lose it you really do get to appreciates the nice aromas of life garlic, weed, women, perfume, etc Anyone else with a similar experience I would like to hear from you
Hugh Jass
I broke my nose when I was a kid and have a really poor sense of smell. I can smell a strong smell but subtleties escape me. If I squeeze and twist my nose I can smell much better than normally. So if I just don't smell anything I never seem to miss what I cannot smell. Probably becasue I don;t know it is there. KayDog
I positively love the smell of ferrets! I had them many years ago - but a combo of young age and unable to train them not to bite, I gave them away to a much more experienced handler. I think of them fondly often. Being born severely deaf - that's a can of worms. They say you don't miss what you have never had. Rubbish. Utter tosh. I can see and experience the effects of what I've never had. Tinnitus, too, but we'll forget that for now. During this C-19, there's been around 10-12 instances where I'm told to queue for the tills quite some distance away and when it's my turn someone calls from an unknown direction and unknown distance and then treats me stupid - even after I've told them I'm deaf. In one particular Aldi, one stupid bitch has it out for me as the 'deaf cunt' (guess what? I can lip read) so now I grab a handful if expensive meat/steaks and throw them in the back of somewhere warm in each visit. Yeah, give a dog a bad name and all that. And that's just the past few weeks. I get the loss of something - enjoy what you actually have!

I'd expect the symptoms to persist for as long as there's a Tory government in place. There is a cure but it involves kicking Boris Johnson in the testicles which under current circumstances is not achievable. Write your MP and demand restitution!

I like to run up and down some stairs a couple of times to unblock mine, or push ups, well the couple i can do anyway. I heard Nadhim is on the look out for someone to give his horses a night cuddle to keep them warm if a cash incentive is out the question....
