MindSoup
Hey guys Over the last 6 months or so dad has started having some really serious problems with his shoulder. The doctors say its ligament damage and at his age may well be there for a long time if not for good. He has been struggling with work (mechanics) and now even driving is starting to be really painful, it actually appears to be getting worse. I have chronic back problems myself and use a mixture of CBD e-juice and cannabis (mostly cannabis) to help with it, so as you can imagine I have been suggesting medical Cannabis to him, especially since they got him on the codeine phosphate. The problem is he's dead against smoking and does not want to get high, but has agreed to try CBD more or less to shut me up. I think some kind of tablet or balm would be most approachable for him, might help him to take it seriously/ be less dismissive if it looks "official". I have noticed a lot of very vague packaging and advertising, all seemingly trying not to admit that there is actually fuck all CBD actually in those products. This is a big achievement to get him to the point of trying so I really want to make sure what I give him is effective so he doesn't immediately right it off as "hippy bollocks" (this is a man who like Boris Johnson, calls salad rabbit food and is still not convinced climate change is real). Is there anyone out there who can help me work out what sort of a dosage would be correct and steer me through the minefield of seemingly useless products? I'm hoping this could lead to him being willing to try some non active full spectrum balm my friend makes. Also can anyone please confirm that CBD alone wont make you fail a drug test ? surely the commercially available stuff is completely void of THC.
