Study reveals that CBC and CBG exhibit anti-tumour properties

Using gastrointestinal cancer cells and a series of high-throughput screening (HTS) tests, scientists from Cannabics Pharmaceuticals Inc. revealed that two non-intoxicating cannabinoids cannabigerol (CBG) and cannabichromene (CBC) both exhibit anti-tumour properties.

Both CBG and CBC are naturally occurring cannabinoids found exclusively in the cannabis plant called phytocannabinoids, although both are usually found in much smaller concentrations than the two more commonly known phytocannabinoids, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

The results of the experiment highlight a correlation between the presence of these cannabinoids and an increased rate of necrosis in cancer cells, which ultimately causes the cells to die. It is believed that because both CBG and CBC are neutral molecules (as opposed to being polarised or acidic), they can penetrate into a cancer cell’s membrane, increasing their anti-tumour potential.

Dr Ballan, co-founder of Cannabics Pharmaceuticals Inc. said, “We are intrigued by the results we have obtained in the lab and our aim is to consider placing an emphasis on this organ system and to further explore the differential anti-tumour properties of cannabinoids. We believe that these preliminary results vindicate our vision; which is to bring personalisation into cannabinoid-based cancer treatments.”

Earlier in February 2020 and following this discovery, Cannabics Pharmaceuticals Inc. announced that they have signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ with RCK Medical Cannabis in Israel to develop specific strains of medical cannabis aimed at treating gastrointestinal cancers.

so  even MORE  proof  that cannabis helps yet another illness ............ perhaps they will open their eyes to the  MASSIVE medical properties legalise it  ....  YEA LIKE THATS GOING TO HAPPEN

Hit the nail on the head of hope for many I expect but I also reckon at the same time their eyes 'government' or other controlling forces somewhere knew or already knows this and is the good reason why they ignore it and pass it all off as just being a psychotic type dopers trip & pipe dream until they can find a way to patent it, hike up the price and sell it only to people who have the readies to afford it.

 

Were just as they state, consumers, they dont want us to know anything yet until they are ready to produce when its fit for the desired consumer at the highest profit with the least amount of labour and quality.

 

But even then, every country could be in this game it's just a shame we cannot give it a go legally here starting from scratch, small and build a good business afterall we are a nation of shop keepers and entrepreneurs and their are huge profits to be made.

 

I think only the very large already established pharmaceutical firms globally whom have such a tight stranglehold will be the ones to make a profit and we the consumers will be paying through the nose, begging, just like they enjoy.

but isn’t that we’re the problem is ‘profit’ ?

 

just remove the profits and the problems go away..

 

it’s just a plant, treat it like one and stop trying to rinse it for all it’s not worth..

 

why is it expensive.. because it was illegal, that’s all. grow it like we used to and be done with the whole fecking thing! It would be everywhere in a year or two, it value would plummet to pennies/pounds not £100’s/£1000’s and we could all start being healthy again   

 

rather than live in this plastic pharmaceutical nightmare  

 

free the weed not the greed!

Only problem being just smoking or eating isnt going to be the answer, if cures for cancer, epilepsy,  parkinsons etc are found definitively in cannabis and dwindled down to an exact science then its likely to be done in a lab and not repeatable at home in any efficient way.
