Era
I’m not sure if it would be against forum rules to post a list of medical ‘professionals’ who are ideologically opposed to the use of cannabis and discriminate against medicinal users? It might save patients and the nhs some time and money if these people were known, and unnecessary stress and dissatisfaction could be avoided or more appropriate help obtained if people also post any positive experience with disclosure to the nhs.. I’d be happy to make a start with mine who until I receive conformation from a mod I will refer to as ‘dr ignoramus’. He has helped me reach the conclusion that psychiatrists are not very good listeners so drug patients to shut them up. Anyone had any good experiences? Slugums
Might that be construed as libellous?

Gut reaction, although I'm sympathetic, is...not a good idea. Also, for the grower, by listing the GP/specialist you are pissed off with, you're narrowing the pool as you who you are, and giving quite a tight geographic pinpoint as to where you live (usually). Some might care about that. Edited May 3, 2019 by j.o.i.n.t
highcontrast
Lets forget the list for now, its a stupid idea. We have doctors in the nhs who refuse to prescribe contraception pills due to religious beliefs. We don’t go hating on these people do we. Your can’t expect a doctor to change their views on something that they simply don’t believe in. They would need to be properly educated first I feel your pain with regards to psychiatrists just pushing more drugs but i assure you their are psychiatrists out their with a positive attitude towards the green, but finding them on the nhs will no doubt be a lottery.
Era
Probably should have put it in the ‘things that get on your nerves’ section and forgotten about it.. now I’ve had a smoke I agree it’s a stupid idea.. probably best not to mention the green to drs but difficult for me as my symptoms fluctuate so much when I have or don’t have smoke.. I’m at risk of misdiagnosis if I’m not honest imo. First compared it to alcohol.. and then heroine! if I had the money a private dr would prescribe weed.. frustrating
j.o.i.n.t
No way should we hold back 'brain fart' ideas, though! 99% of mine are in that category PS. @Era If you're really unhappy, and think you're being mistreated....we might be able to give some tips on how you can handle that. No promises, though! Edited May 3, 2019 by j.o.i.n.t
