Rabbi's and orthodox priests are very relaxed when it comes to cannabis. Haven't got time right now to watch the doc but I'm sure kaneh bosm is originally Hebrew iirc.

It is, Jesus was also a Jew.   I'd be interested to see if Cannabis oil's an effective treatment for leprosy as it would make sense of some of the healing 'miracles' Jesus supposedly performed.
