Baked Ben Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 am heading off on friday round europe for a few weeks, and wanted to start off in the dam for a night or two, then move on to some other places in holland for a few nights and get some decent toking in. heard utrecht, haarlem and rotterdam are supposed to be good, can anyone verify any of these?? )basically after any info on places to stay (preferably without reservation and smoker friendly, but not fussed about quality too much) in the last 3 cities i mentioned, and best places to buy some decent smoke. is it worth trying to do these other 3 places as well as just amsterdam? any general advice on it would be perfect. also if anyone is about then and fancies a smoke, give me a shout! pre-emptive cheers for the help 420ers! wildbill Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 All the places you mention can be good. In Haarlem make sure you find "Birdy" on Schotersveg. In Rotterdam try Sensi Smile, among others. Can be rough in places. Uthrecht is cool, but can be hostile to non-dutch occasionally. Den Haag has some excellent koffieshops, and very little bullshit. Baked Ben Posted August 3, 2011 Author Share Posted August 3, 2011 cheers mate, will make sure to do all of them. plans have changed slightly now, getting ferry tomorrow night to hook of holland, then to rotterdam. after rotterdam, den haag, haarlem, amsterdam then utrecht. is there anything to do in any of these places other than smoke up (preferably stuff i can do whilst smoking up!)? hostel wise, do you lot reckon it's easy enough to find a cheap hostel without booking? Hashishin Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 There are a few places in Amsterdam that will let you smoke weed inside their bars, obviously only if you buy drinks etc. Try Lost in Amsterdam on the Nieuwendijk, Hunters bar (next to the Hunters coffeeshop on the Warmoesstraat), Kashmir Lounge Bar & coffeeshop Jan Pieter Heijestraat just off of the Overtoom. Some nightclubs also let you smoke weed or they did when I was there 3 years ago, I suppose it depends on where you go etc. Have a good one.
