If you want to take the piss though, and I have no defence, I sat through a Barry Manilow concert once - I got 2 tickets as a present for my wife (first one). Turn on mtv and death is mentioned within a few seconds.......... all the pop music is happy but about as substancial as the inside of a balloon..........
