Do you mean as far as other people being able to look at your surfing history etc??

Is it windows 98, 2000 or XP?

In general your settings and IE history are kept seperate from other users and are private. Any user with admin rights ( normally the person who installed XP) can view the settings etc. of other users.

The admin can grant other users admin rights.

The above is assuming that XP was installed fresh. If an upgrade was done from win9* to XP then you might be using the old FAT32 file system. In that case any user can access any file.
