I made some Cannabutter, didn't bother with the water just Butter and weed, simmered for about 60min, strained it and baked it.

Only problem is the smell while simmering, I was worried about the nieghbours coming over.

I rekon by the time I had made the butter I was high just from the smell and fumes. But Worth it believe me.

i use water as i want the leaf to soak up water not the butter,

then the maximum ammount of butter will be available to soak up the thc.

I think I asked this in another thread but didnt really get the answer i wanted....

I'm really not interested in making cookies or anything.

Can I just grind some buds up and mix this in melted chocolate for a while and then pour into a mould and cool it down?

This would be really cool for my mates who dont like smoking but like eating chocolates.

Also, if this works.....

How long will it keep in a fridge

Will I need to add something to disguise the taste of the weed?

I think you've really got to do the heating thing - heat with fat or alcohol, but animal fat works best, if you put it in melted choc, I don't reckon it'll get the fat in the chocolate hot enough to do the necessary (dunno the chemistry, all I know is THC can't be absorbed across the stomach in the natural state, it needs to be combined with fat or alcohol). You may get a buzz off it, I just don't reckon you'll get anything like the buzz you'd get from cooking (or just making cannabutter). Maybe you could make cannabutter, then add the butter to the melted choc to make cannatruffles instead.

if you put leaf in it will taste green, you cant really escape that,

and it last's however long the shelf life of the chocolate lasts.....

have you tried joolz bud yogurt recipe that might suit your friends better... :yep:
