I was going to post some vids in the music vids thread but thought this legend deserves his own page.

Frank Vincent Zappa (December 21, 1940 – December 4, 1993)was a composer, guitarist, record producer, and film director.

In a career spanning more than 30 years, Zappa wrote rock, jazz, electronic and orchestral works. He also directed feature-length films and music videos, and designed album covers.

Zappa produced almost all of the more than 60 albums he released with the band Mothers of Invention and as a solo artist.

I was lucky enough to see him live on his last tour of the uk at Wembley arena and I was totally gobsmacked by the brilliance of Frank and his band. It is a night I will never forget.
