Pressing screen

I just got a smokin deal on a 5gallon 5 bag set but i dont have a pressing screen. Could I just dry it on cardboard or do I need one of these screens?

hey mcbudderson

try using a good quality kitchen roll/paper like bounty or summit similar , it will suck up any excess moisture too and keep youre crystals in one pile/slab

once it is a dry enough consistancy put it on a tea plate (anything made of china) to complete the drying process - this way the crystals wont stick to anything and you wont lose out

DONT USE TOILET PAPER THOUGH!!!!!!!

I dont use the pressing screen as a pressing screen neway, i just place the hash from the bags it on the screen for a while, then whilst its still wet, i press it in my hand into pennys of hash, which completey dry over night.

I once use that pressing screen AS a pressing screen on some high quality bubble, talk about sticky!!! I had to clean it with IPA to get it clean again, needless to say, some hash was wasted in the cleaning.
