please help - pest problems

hi all , recently assumed i had a thrip issue on my plants through images i found on here an damage caused.

today i used my 30X lence to look closer and im 99% sure i have spidermite. can see em crawling

i have a local homebase an b&q and wanted to know if anyone knew a good product to use in flower and maybe veg to.

im about 2-3weeks into flower now.

Lots of people recommend SBPI in flowering.

I don't really like the product myself.......it made a load of my chillies warp, though I think I may have used at the wrong concentration.

I am very careful with the stuff now.

I use a lot of neem oil mixed in water.

But this will taint the buds with a taste if you spray in flower.

I'd suggest getting some neem to use whilst your vegging next time round. It's also a great health booster for the plants - contains NPK and trace elements.

Chem-free:

If you can take the plants to the bathroom and have a shower - spray the underside of the leaves with cold water. They hate it and it just knocks them off......won't get rid of them all, but will help control.

Good luck though, as they can be a bastard to get rod of them......I know from experience.

Having tried allsorts for a year or so, I got rid of them using neem oil and very thourogh sprayings every 3 days whilst the plants are vegging. I still use the neem as a tonic spray.

I can never seem to sell anyone on giving the sonic plugins a try but that's what I use in my room with the good ole insect killing soap and I normally don't see any type of bug issues up until the final weeks of flower....

E2A: and spider mites isn't a problem I see in those final weeks, normally a few thrips and white flies
