vyral
I have recently harvested, but i lack a quality drying area, I have a crawlspace, humidity not about 35%, temps around 70's... What my question is, is do i need air moving over them? or can it just dry hanging in the crawlspace? or will it rot?
d_L_t
Cardboard box works ok for me... No fans needed then. Just make sure its bone dry before jarring. At least 2 weeks. e2a, hanged in box, not piled in cause it will rot if they are piled up, just want to make that clear  Edited August 24, 2008 by Smokey
T1
i use the same method as you smokey, but i also cut a small square out of the side of the box and stuck a small pc fan on it connected to a multi adapter just to keep the air moving. jedimasterbator
my pal has got a plasma tv box, hangs the crop from strings like washing lines.... seals the top and puts a few knitting needle holes it the top... on the bottom side, a small rvk is attached with carbon filter which pulls only a slight air through the box due to the small holes and no issues with smell..... it is dryed a treat!
