a couple of weeks back I harvested my first ever bud although I,ve been smokin for 27 yrs . I diddn,t want to do a report until I had been smokin it for a week or so to get a good impression ; well .. sometimes I find skunk in general a little too much if you have things to do etc ,, and generally I prefer hash .. anyhow
the first thing I noticed was the lovely hashy taste and when you open the jar the smell is magnifique
the hit is very ,very pleasing the only thing I can liken it to is minali hash .. it has an almost physical hit and a lovely calming stone ..believe me if it was shite I would be the first one to admit it.. but I can honestly say it is one of the most pleasant smokes I have EVER had
so if your thinkin about growing LR2 think no more

hi Pete, I always thought Lowryder would of been quite a weak smoke but i guess i'd be wrong , whats the effect like after a joint or a bong? how tall did they end up?, how much did you get off 1 of them? peace

Cheers for that pete,nice to know.I grew my first l/ryder 1 and it too was alovely smoke,so might have a go at the l/ryder 2,just out of curiosity m8 what did you get off it(dried) as i got 12g(dried) off the l/ryder 1 and just wondering if the l/ryder 2 produces more as they grow taller,well so i'm told.cheers,4eh.

in a way it IS quite a weak smoke ,it,s very indica -y but it,s weird because you can,t really call it weak .I know this kinda dont make sense but weak isn,t really the word .. the best way I can explain it is that it don,t mong you out , like if you was at a party and you diddnt want to get that "everyone stops talkin thing" it would be perfect ,,very uplifting .as for yeild ..I only got half oz off 1 plant but it was flowered at 12/12 so as to fit in with my other plants and it was in a small pot (newb mistake)

I've grown LR1, and frankly I thought it was best for making hash, and not really a class weed on its own. I'm not dissing it, mind, it definitely has it's place.

LR2 has some really good genetics, being crossed with the Brazilian-influenced Santa Maria, and it looked really nice. I imagine it's a bit like taking LR1 and giving it a small shot of WhiteWidow booster or something.

Great job with the grow m8 . I think I'll have to try LR2 at some point in the future . Am glad you ended up with a good smoke. I'm hoping to get an oz off of each of my plants, but that's hoping .

yeah definately ,and I had to flower it on 12/12 when it should be 18/6 for a lowryder2

i have just finished a lr2 seed run,i have 3 males and a bag of pollon left over and the smoke off the skiff is still very nice indeed.
its the cross with santa maria that makes it a very sticky bud unlike the lr1 which isnt as strong.
got plenty of seeds now, i have just put a lr2 fem into my new high do system im using so it should grow as big as a lr2 can get.

Sounds nice to me. I tried first time minali hash last year in Goa it was soooo sweet!
My two LR2 girls are getting higher and thicker everyday (34 days old) being out nearby Moscow, so can't wait the hit (probably in Sep.).

Click to view attachment this is my lowryder#2 at 15 days she is now 23 days and looking good i got a male the same size aswell i am only using compost and the summer daylight hours am hoping to build a grow cupboard soon want to try and grow some buddha just waitin to see what the smoke is like of these my female is about 9 inchs tall at 23days and smelling sweet in the sunlight just cant wait will post some pics of her when she done i also have another 6 plants at earlier stages

hears mine at 5 weeks.

and i cant wait as they will be my first proper home grown.

ive smoked lr2 a few times, i had no complaints! .. maybe 1, its a bit sticky

nice 1 pete ,i'd pop ova 4 a sample but after last time, the missus won't let me drive ,i only just made it bk .

i had to chop her 3weeks early as well.

she smoke fine and even the trim is better than the last bit of dealer weed i had.

i also got a unknown sativa which i started flowering the same time the lowryder started autoflowering and the sat is only have way through. i reckon another 6 weeks till it finishes.
