am using nft and coming up to the week flush. My question is the water I flush them with should be pH balanced with pH down? My tap water pH is about 7.2 after standing. That would probably require 1.5ml pH down to 10l water to maintain..

cheers folks wink1.gif

im puzzled. you have done the whole crop, and only now are you asking how to set the ph?

if you never did it during the crop, its pritty pointless during the flush. I can't really advice on quantitys either as different shops give out different strengths and types of acid.

Just continue as you have been doing. ph tests kits are £5 so get one for your next grow.

lol.gif lol.gif you misunderstood. I just mean the flush is supposed chase out unwanted salts and such, therefore I shouldnt add anything else to the water. But If I flush with plain tap water the pH will be 7.2, which its not meant to be for hydro. (I've kept it at pH6 all the way through)

So should I flush with plain water at pH 7.2? Or should I use pH down?

hope this is clearer smile.gif one too many joints last night yinyang.gif
