I had the same thing when I harvested a bunch of SS a couple of months ago. The drying room just smelt like dry grass. I was well pissed off, however after 2 months curing it stinks to high heaven.
I know how you feel. I want my garden to stink to high heaven and would love to grow a strain that took the piss.
Just doesnt work like that I guess.

sheva shanti pal. not reported to stink particularly badly, but its consistantly been a problem strain. ive experience of 4 different lots over the last 15 years and each one has been 'top smelly'

skunk strains also smell, but not as bitter n twisted. The standard sheva is somewhat different despite its helping of the garlic bud genes. The shanti really stands out though.
