There Outdoor femmed seeds like 'Passion#1' seem fairly reliable. But I've had Hermie problems around week 5/6 with there indoor fem's(Hempstars)

recently. 34.gif

CO
OL THANX. isnt this a strain base?ps;m indoor
fullofsmoke
Have tried fem'd Mazar and Blueberry from DP

Mazar turned out great with no herm's but the BB's were complete mutants.

Could only recommend mazar on my personal experience.......not chancing DP's BB again.

Good luck with what ever you choose

Hi all just 2 report;day 23 of flower 2 herms for now.
bazza82
i'm staying away from feminized seeds, it wasn't Dutch passion i done but was feminized and start of week 6 a pollen sack appeared on a fan leaf, was the only 1 on the plant that i knew of but it's gonna be regular all the way now, plus theres that added bonus if you find a good male (or think its a good male) - save the pollen for future crosses, but i hope you get some beautiful buds in your grow mate yinyang.gif
HEAVY_SMOKER
i had 1 pack of power plant femed dp

very small seed to say the least

only one has survived but that should pay for the pack

cautiosly saying that im on week 3 of my grow

I'm using femanized dutch passions (oasis) and 5 of the 8 went hermie on me!
Also 1 seed did not germinate and there was only 9 in the pack! I'm currently battling the hermies but they have calmed down.
I emailed D.Passion and never even got a reply, so they don't really give a monkeys either.
I'd never use Dutch Passion again, but thats just my experience of course.
cannamedic
Using dutch passion because they've got a few classic strains, but in general I've become less and less satisfied with them. Original Flo hermed very early and as for feminized, you've got to be clinically insane to buy them.

Every FEMALE strain from DP Ive grown turned hemie on me stay away there REG seeds are GREAT
Lizard

I must admit DP seem to have been going down the pan just recently, the quality of their offerings has dropped significantly, you may aswell save yourself a few quid and get a pack of nirvana beans ( or even better mandala) to be honest .

tbh I don't think the regular beans are any better than the feminised ones these days, infact the fem Mazar I had was miles better than the regular - the regular went hermie and was generally a weaker smoke .

Original powerplant regular - 22.99
Feminised powerplant - 50.99

You'd have to be new to money as well.

Why would you? If you are new to growing and listen into the femanized hype? A new grower is going to be bought into the idea of growing 10 females instead of the going the sexed route and taking the chances with male/female ratios. Thats why they can sell them!
If you think that for the extra £28 you are going to actually get a pack of girls and if you don't know any better you would pay it.

I just bought 10 dp blueberry fem cost me £90 all 10 germed but after reading this im shitting it now mad.gif
Organic Jim
Allright dudes, I've been using DP feminised seeds for years now and I have never ever had a hermie plant. I've had one male flower since 1998. I don't see why everyone is so anti DP?! I love 'em! Oh well, that's just my 2 pence. (or forty quid in the last instance!) But seriously, I've not come across a single problem with DP's fem seeds.
Hope this helps ease the stress, Jim.

Fair enough. Gotta admit the first pack of seeds I ever bought were DP feminized. I just recon that unless you're really f'ed for space and time you should save the fem premium and buy a kick ass aero cloner.

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to totally put people of DP, I'm growing them at the mo and my mother plant is a gem, but I can definately say from experience that I've had a couple of bad batches, which can really piss you off as a grower.

No mate neither am I, I'm just going on my experience so far with them.
Come chop time if I only have a few seeds and lots of fat buds I'll be yahoo.gif I just wished I'd of found this site before I actually took the plunge into growing as I'd of a ) saved myself on equipment and b ) purchased regular seeds doh.gif
Could be worse though, some people pay £445 for 10 Doggies Nuts femanized lol.gif doh.gif
I'm sure there are loads of people who have grown DP fems without a problem, such as Organic Jim, but from what I've read and my experience it's pot luck as the femanized seeds are not very stable and forgiving.
