bloody hell, i remember looking at his seeds a few years ago & was tempted to get some, bloody glad i didnt get them now !

i cant believe i missed this thread in the 1st place & i wouldnt have been too happy knowing i'd got some other breeders

In My Experience, i also had dealings with this Queijo Character about 4 years ago over some Vision Thai seeds.

Didn't receive the Seeds but did However Receive these Seeds Shown in the Pic, along with some cuttings for being messed about.

Funnily enough, I Stumbled on these old seeds in one of my old University boxes a few days ago during a search in my loft.

Strange Timing really as I've just put the Cheese x Trainwreck in for germination about 10 minutes ago and reading this post about the Same Guy.

Are we to say then that these Seeds are more than likley going to be duds?

I just found this thread.... I wish I would have found it back in December, before I fell in lust with Breeders Choice's offerings of pure landrace strains.... Now I've been burned, but the lesson's been learned. Avoid any dealings with HotHouseFlowers. Luckily, I only ordered on pack of beans. I never order more than that any time I try out a new vendor. What sucks is other people who sent in lots of funds, including one med grower who sent in around $1000 for seedstock... they're now waiting, with nothing but repeated empty promises of "they're ready to go, will ship next week!".

Sorry Scribble, i should have been a bit clearer. i've never bought anything from HHF or Quenjo or any of his other alias', i'm just grateful for the info as i'd considered it after seeing an ad in Soft secrets or something.

i've done pretty well until now just buying from well known seedbanks and cloning them to death til i get bored of the smoke

Soft secrets should be ashamed as IMO they MUST of definately known about this guy, HHF must have some blag on him cos I have seen a few forums where people were trying to warn about him and the said site stood by him and even banned some pretty long term members which is pretty shocking.

my instinct is to stay out of this kind of thing, but since I spent some time corresponding with the guy, I may know some stuff other people don't:

it may be worth knowing that icmag/seedbay did walk off with a lot of Quejo/HHF's seedbay money once they had found out what he was all about -

as far as I know there is no way to stop him re-registering under yet another alias

which is a real shitter as it makes it even more difficult to know who to trust on these forums - there are several people here and on icmag and breedbay who I suspect of being the same guy posting under various names

if you keep an eye on the strains he has and his style it soon becomes fairly obvious

I know someone personally who sent in a lot of very good Thai and Lao strains to Quejo's site cannabiseye - obviously he never recieved payment, and god knows whether any of his strains ever got sent out... I doubt it

this same friend recently posted me to say he has seen some Thai strains go on sale at breedbay which sound exactly like the ones he sent Quejo/HHF...

I'll let people who are interested fill in the blanks themselves... plenty of smoke there, but how to know if there is fire?

I saw his [BH] new strains the other day and thought it really weird he'd never mentioned them before considering his spamming skills and it clicked after what you mentioned above. Could well be that they're just friends, HHF did manage to befriend Zamalito too. All very strange.

British Hempire is not HHF, I've met BH and he didn't look very spanish to me . A no-brainer really the writing styles are in no way similar.
Never met HHF but did get promised some seeds from him once, maybe he'll send 'em one day.

I was reading through all the threads in the breeding section the other day and went into chat and asked hope what happened to this cheesy queerjoe character. Now his response of quite harsh and fairly colourful language becomes clear.

I can't believe he's still at it after years of screwing decent people over, aswell as a majority of his customers. Hopefully there will come a time when everyone is aware of this history and he will no longer be able to operate on any level.

Im afraid so, the new web site is Cannabis Eye and the crap they breed is Breeders choice(as in the dog food).
The bullshit on the site is shocking, the front page is cannabis eye and breeders choice are announcing there partnership, even though its always been the same people/person running both outfits from the beggining.
No doubt they will be uncovered as a fraud eventually and new names will appear.

After 5 years of total abstinence from interacting with the online cannabis community, this one thread (which I spent the whole morning reading & the early afternoon thinking about) has 'moved me' sufficiently to want to say my piece.

But first, please permit me a few words on 'where I was then' & 'where I am now'

Back then I was a pawn of someone who, by the strength of their personality and the force of their enthusiasm convinced me (for a while) that they were working 'for the cause'.

When I came to doubt & question some of their attitudes/morals/'business' decisions, I was cut off, abandoned, literally thrown into the streets of a foreign town, and bad-mouthed/black-listed on many boards.

Since then, I have been arrested, extradited, sentenced, freed & have returned to the Netherlands to a life I could never have dreamed of in my home town. To be blunt, I feel like a completely different person than I was then.

In co-operation with my (Dutch) house-mates, I have been growing (in soil, indoor & outdoor) for the last 2 years or so. Sometimes it feels like it is a little too easy over here, but as we all learn, Mother Nature has a way of putting you in your place from time to time.

Back On-Topic, firstly I'd like to offer a huge 'virtual hug' to all those members who came out of their comfort zones to contribute to ensuring that the truth is told. I appreciate it could not have been easy to be so open about such deeply personal matters. Nobody enjoys admitting to being conned. Maximum Respect.
