I'm just about to start my first grow, an outdoor one.

I've took gamble, in May I looked at a monthly outlook and I saw thatb it was bleak.

So I'm planting mine now.

Fingers grossed my gamble will pay off

Biddy Early

I've only gone cheap to see how they turn out.

It was £25 for 10 seeds from Rhino Seeds

Biddy Early won second prize in the Sativa Cup at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2003.

The Biddy Early is Magus Genetic's first outdoor variety, but in looks to be one of their best ever. It will grow out to a classical Sativa Xmas Tree, with a height of approximately 1.8 to 2 meters.

Because of its early flowering and maturation, it's very well suited for open field cultivation in Holland and areas with a similar climate. Of course, it's also possible to grow the Biddy Early with great results indoors under lights, but remaining mothers in a vegetative stage for a prolonged period, can be difficult, and in some cases even impossible.

The majority of the plants will form red and purple colours if exposed to low temperatures, yet with some variation in the location and intensity of the discoloration. It has a sweet candy aroma and a powerful high, not recommended as a "day-time smoke", but still mild enough not to be considered a "party killer".

Flowering time 7 - 8 weeks

It'll be interesting to see what growth ya get, bit late like by hey nothin ventured nothin gained. Sounds like good genetics. Good luck with it.

"Because of its early flowering and maturation, it's very well suited for open field cultivation in Holland "

That line won it for me, we have a similar climate so...
GreenSkunk
yeah but the whole 'early finish' may not be so desired when starting late unsure.gif

But still it sounds liek a nice strain, good luck biggrin.gif
djmartinh
I don't think we had a good start though
djmartinh
So a late start and late finish might go in my favour, on the other hand, it might not. That's why it's a gamble smile.gif

My seeds never came today.

They should be here tomorrow though smile.gif

Afghanica here I come smile.gif

Apparently, 'the buds drip with resin in the sun'

Just hope we get some sun!

hello djmartin, i grew pot of gold last year only started at the end of july from seed, finished way into Nov though, probably not the best strain to start so late (pog), but i did get results, cant see any reason why you shouldnt get results, mybe you wont get the biggest plants but you should still get something, and you have the advantage of a better adapted strain, goodluck bro thumbsup.gif

Nice 1 Jedi!

I hope they look like your velux plants!

I was in awe at those smile.gif
