I have 2 lowriders x2's who are budding at the moment, with all this rain we are having this week would it be better to put them into the greenhouse to finish budding? As I remember reading that you shouldnt spray buds with water during flowering as it could induce mould?

I leave mine in the rain (I have a Satori at week 5 of forced 12/12 or so outdoors) for an hour or so. Any longer and I bring them into shelter and give them a good shake to get the main excess of water off them wink1.gif Rain has many benefits, its the best possible water and also gives the leaves a good old rinse from dust and pests which enables them to work better. But obviously, letting them stand day on day or even hour on hour in a downpour aint the best way!

what about the guerilla growers who dont have an option of bringing the plants indoors?

and dont have the option of trekking to their grow to cover the lil bitches up, every time the clouds burst?

it's only really a problem when your buds get dense. autumn is worse because of high humidity and not much wind to blow it around. this time of year the rain often has some breeze with it so the moisture shouldn't sit in the bud and cause mould.
still misty mornings and evenings are particularly the times to watch out.

what if you got some cling-flim and put it high up over the plant (not that high obviously), would that cover the plants from the rain and still let the right sunlight through?

1st winds over 30mph and that will be gone

Ys, but many greenhouses are a more fungus friendly environment than the great outdoors even though it be raining. All that warm humidity and still air. My flowering Satori took a damned good soaking the other day, but 5 mins after the rain stopped the wind had dried it completely. In a greenhouse, it would have been steaming and sweating for days.
But some greenhouses are well aired, so its horses for courses innit.

all this rain,im going to dig mine up and put them in the greenhouse.

I agree Arnold, but i was lookin at it just as a temperarey measure to literally get them out of the rain, obviously there still gonna need venting to dry off, if need be you could always use an hair dryer or a fan on a low setting to dry off whats left after a good shake
