well folks i just completed all the finishing touches(mainly new wires and sealing etc) done on my flowering room and i realised i mustve been proper baking my girls for ages and i shouldve got my enviroment sorted ages ago

i have the ballast, extractor/intake, contactor, fan controller and carbon filter outside of the flowering area and my flowering area is behind the black sheet and through a door and another black plastic sheet, the flowering area was all boarded out and sealed before applying a layer of black plastic then white on top of that,

its a 4ftx4ft square inside with ...
1x 600w hps
superdupa supernova reflector
rvk 150 L1 extracting
rvk 150 a1 intake
acoustic ducting
carbon filter
primair fan speed controller
contactor
14 inch oscillating fan

anyway heres a few shots of my little growroom and the bits i got in it, im well chuffed as its the first time my flowering room has been bang on for temps and rh etc, should hopefully get some bigger crops too smoke.gif

thanks for looking in everyone

heres some pics

the fan controller, ballast, contacter, cf, etc

more of the door open

next up you can see the fan controller temperature probe in the canopy of some cheese(to keep temps at desired level)
and the intake

and finally the extraction tube and a group shot of a few of the girls

thanks again everyone smoke.gif

nice one scareface!!...from what i can tell did u build an extention 2 ur original shed aka...stik another one on the front of the original one?if so...great idea mate...keeps the pics coming...ur setup would?will be of great inspiration for mine/others plannin 2 grow in a shed...btw have u insulated the wall of ur shed?take care mate nd peace smoke.gif

looking good scarface wink.gif

are you 'pushing' through that filter instead of pulling? if thats the case then you need to take the white sleeve pre-filter off the carbon filter and cut a bit to go over the exhaust hole in your room, having it where it is is only slowing down your extraction.

yes mate originally they were 2 identicle sheds, thats why theres 2 layers of felt on the roof aswell, and a sheet of pondliner under that too smoke.gif
no proper insulation though really, only inside on the roof, but before i boarded it out, i put some plastic sheeting up and boarded over the top of that first, then white plastic around the walls inside
thanks mate smoke.gif

the white thingy is to stop large particles clogging up the carbon and shortening it smell absorbing qualities , the airs going the other way in your set up ,down the tube through the carbon and then through the white pre-filter isnt it? i'm afraid it aint really doing anything except slowing down the flow a bit.
if i were you i'd take it off, cut out a circle of the material slightly larger than the exhaust hole in the room itself and stick it over that hole, that way its going to stop large particles being sucked down into the carbon.if youre clever with the cutting you can make more than one circle wink1.gif

thats a quality setup you have there scarface guitar.gif it puts mines to shame, the £140 i paid for my seeds took a huge chunk outta my wallet (im still gutted to this day paying so much for them) but for my next grow i'll hopefully have something similar, good work mate wink.gif

thats a cracking setup scarface, good thinking to link the sheds together, what does it look like from the outside? does it not look slightly odd? or are they well hidden from view?
dr rockster

Not bad vent I suppose. rofl.gif

Na,super set up Scarface. You've got total control now Summer or Winter.

But your temp probe I noticed was sitting on the canopy in direct line if sight of the lamps.

Is that where the makers said you should install it?

Or is it as I suspect for ambient airtemps?

If I'm right you'll be running about approx 4c cooler than your actual temp reading.

cheers bro
yes the shed does look quite good and fits together perfectly, although tbh the fact that my house is inbetween my brother and his family on one side and on the other side one of my best mates and his family, and behind me is my sister and her lot, so its all good because ive been able to do things without anybody noticing except my brother and hes a smoker aswell anyway
wouldnt have been able to do it without the right circumstances plus the fact we have all moved out to the sticks now helps alot
take care smoke.gif

very impressive! I look forward to seeing how the grow goes, esp with ref to the temp control. That's a bunch of air management you've got - should be super duper.

cheers doc im not too sure about the probe i just placed it slightly below the top of the plants in the canopy but i have had the auto temp control thingy set on 30 so if your right its been running about 26 i suppose, but i can live with that , might just go to the shop and buy another 2 thermometres though and get a better alround reading
thanks for the input mate smoke.gif

not quite mate lol.gif me and my bro had it planned to move near eachother anyway, and coincidently the 2 came up at the same time so we though fuck it, our sister was already up there, and then moving day we couldnt believe it when a very close family friend of ours had the one next to me, and my dads best mate the one after that so we got the whole terrace, we just take the fence panels out in the summer in our back gardens and the kids all just run through on the trampolines and the bouncey castle etc, its good like that but we were all just really lucky i guess

thanks all smoke.gif
