hello every one this is my first post on this forum. a friend sent me the link to this after i was using a difernt forum. this is far better!.

anyway, my grow. i have two plants that are about two months old that are out in the woods. there about a foot tall and i think there just starting to show there sex but im not sure. the strain of these i am unsure of as i got them out a a bog o weed i got a while ago and just desided to see if they would grow.

i will try n get pics up on here asap

once they started i did a load of research and desided to by some seeds off the net that were good to grow in the uk. i went for sweet purple cos they are mould resistant and quite early finishing. ive got about four week old seedlings of these growing.
i am planing to take these seedlings out to the woods to the same spot unless i find a bett spot.

so basicly has any one got any advise or coments on my grow? any good or bad im just eger to learn as this is my first grow.
many thanks puff-puff-pass

Yeh instead of going on the floor have you thought about goin up? I was plannin on puttin a month old sensi skunk up in a tree, basically just climbing up lodging a pot in the trunks of the tree and let nature take its course.I would imagine there would be less chance of it getting eaten/seen but you have to find a good tree to climb, lodge your pot in,enough foliage to cover but little to let in the light.good luck

thanks, the spot i have got is surounded by netles and has only one sort of path to it that i have made to get to it. there are also some branches across the sort of patth that are about half a foot tall. would these stop rabbits?

and there arent many climable trees around there and any one that are they do not get enuf sun.

Hi puff puff pass, apart from the bugdamage they look very healthy, what type of insecticide are you using? you have to be careful with certain chemicals seeing as you will be smoking the plant material eventually.
Mr white

Good and healthy looking that plant. I would'nt use anything on it mate it doesnt look to bad, outdoor plants will always have a bit of bug damage but unless its serious I would think twice. Plus you get chemicals on there.

If I get some pest damage when I plant my plant outside..what is the best instecticide to use anyway?

Hi smile.gif
Looking good, i'm going to plant out some cuttings today yahoo.gif (first time
and some spare clones)
I got some pest spray from the local garden centre,Organic Pest Control by Bio,
safe for fruit/veg etc. It was effective against a few spider mites i got on my last grow,
and aphids on this one
Hope that's some use

close up the damage is quite bad and was geting worse. that why i got the insectiside.

i got pravado ultimate bug killer as advised by someone else on this site. its for friut and veg and you only have to aply it about 3 times the howl grow. im am just going to be sure to stop using it about 3-4 weeks befor i harvest so the plant can get it out its system befor i smoke it.

thanks for your coments. im hapy you think its looking healthy!!!

i just got back from weeding my other spot, so will be taking them out in the next few days depending on the weather.

I thought about that. The problems I saw were too much shade from the tree itself, and the plant needing to be watered as it couldn't tap a wide amount of ground water. I don't think it's a goer - although I would love to be proved wrong.

Light is ok if they go high enough and apparently the morning 'dew' around the tree canopy was enough to keep the plants happy .... wink.gif

....best of luck with your outdoor girls PPS .... smoke.gif

if you are going to use insecticides, use NEEM OIL. the guy at my local grow shop reccomends it, and hes says it doesnt effect the smoke, just as long as you dont use it during flower. hope this helps mate, but they dont look that bad, infact they look very healthy man, keep it up.

Hey 85 is there a right and wrong way to mix neem oil??
I cannot remember if it was this site or not but i think i read sumit about mixing the neam in with warm water and some wetting agent to stop the plants getting all oily!!! (im gonna go find the page if poss, i have never used neem but have just brought a bottel as i got a few plants that im gonna put out side)
But i was told by the grow shop to maybe give them a spray when i put them out and again on another vist. but not to worry to much as nature has its own bug killers that will do the job,

Well I know it can be done, but fuck me, climbing a fucking tree with a 25 litre pot strapped to yer back ain't what I'll doing this weekend. I crawl on hands and knees to reach some of mine, I get thorns but shit at least I ain't gonna break my fucking neck. Tarzan with a watering can I ain't!
Organic Jim
For a neem spray I use a tea made from neem leaves.
Take ten leaves or thereabouts, boil a pint of water in a pan and chuck them in. Cook for ten minutes and then cool and strain into a sprayer bottle.
For a heavy bug assault use 1/2 oz dark rolling tobacco mixed with a whole crushed garlic bulb, soak this mix in a litre of water for a week, then strain and spray. Take that bugs.
For greenfly, ecover or bio~D washing up liquid in water, washing up strength, sprayed heavily onto infested plants will clear a plant of aphids. It breaks their surface membrane and they just dissolve, leaving skins behind. nasty.

Yeah mate your plants look great mate. Hope mine get like yours in two months. Keep posting the pics wink1.gif
