Hey hey. jus startin a few of jointdoctor's "lowrydyer #2". Bought 10 seeds the other day. Some others are being grown in a polytunnel and in various outdoor plots by me & my mate: a few bagseeds, grapefruit, homegrown skunk frm england, hollands misty from amsterdam, and a mix between purple haze and hollands misty from last years batch. Don't know tons yet really about growin, but managed to germinate 5 of the 10 seeds in just under 24hours. Hopefully this way will help a few people, new to the germinating scene like myself.

I used the Ziploc bag approach, with two new "j-cloths" which I dampened with water that had been boiled and cooled to just over room temp. The seeds were placed on top of one damp cloth and then the other placed over them. Then the bag was sealed nearly all the way and I inflated it by breathing into it. It was then put on top of an electric blanket which was turned on permanently on the lowest heat, and a towel put over the bag to ensure darkness. this was all located under my bed as parents are an issue.

And that was that. Hopefully the rest will pop soon and turn out female!

Hopefully me & my mate will be keepin a grow diary over the next few weeks too.

What would be the usual yield from one healthy lowryder #2? people have been sayin between 2-4 ounces? accurate?

I've heard more like 1 ounce per plant is a good yeild.

two to four ounces from any plant is good , arent they suposed to be good for about 44 grams 1.5 ounces ? thats optimum conditions I would think .

most i've heard from a lowryder is just under 2oz ......the bigger the pot the better apparently,.and lots of sunshine

Well, All 10 seeds Germinated fully a Day or two ago.. root stems grew up to an inch long.. lookin nice. So they're in 10 pots now, lapping up the sun in a friends polytunnel. hoping for a fair few females. Soon as they're hardy enough they're goin outside.

Yea sorry guys. All well, I'll get some pictures up in the next few days. All have sprouted properly and are between 1/2" to 1" tall at the mo. Funny looking at my mates other plants (grapefruit, skunk etc..) which were all started earlier than mine and are much bigger. Being watered every day/second day in pots now (from a fresh river that runs through his land - all natural!) Still sitting happily in a warm(ish) polytunnel. Weathers been changing here all the time from bursts of sun to torrential rain, so hopefully I get em good and strong before putting them out.
Also my friend has been kind enough to sort out a few nutrients for them too. Pictures very soon, Then some of the site. Later... Thanks.

Hey, finally got some pictures up. They're awful, night pictures, but they get the point across. Again, I'll get better ones soon. Remember that river I was speaking about running through his garden? Well it burst its banks during the horrible weather and flooded the entire garden. The plants were on a pool table and the water was about 2cm below flooding them or sweeping them down the river. So now they're on top of a shed roof with a lot of sunlight.

We've been given another donation, 11 bubblicious plants. The one's circled in the picture, however, have been fucked up by whoever gave them to us and seem to be budding already. very strange. Dont know what will happen with them. Anyway, we're up to 27 plants I think, which is fuckin crazy.

Might Just put the lowryders into giant pots with soil instead of the outdoor plot. What do u guys reckon? Just easier to move about if things start to get dodgy, and i can keep them in my friends garden. How much room would the roots need?

My lowryders are looking very similar to yours. They sprouted on the 10th June though. Hope all goes well for you.

hiya irish .. feck me even your pics look drowned .. bout them flowering plants.. jorges cervantes ( luv im or hate im ) reckons that clones that have been on 24 hour light cycle that are then planted outside sometimes freak out and flower ? maybe thats the prob .. t'others lookin nice tho mate .. ;

Thats what i thout, i mean they see this plant and they think ''ZOMG cannabis leafs!! '' and then they take it, run home, cut it up, dry it, chuck it into some rizla and smoke...

Then they probably say, damn that was soem shit grower, that weed didtn get me high at all
