Hi all,
Today Im starting to build a small grow room Thats is going to be hidden from every 1 so not to think anything. Im going to take my time doing it but the first thing is im going to get the walls up just so I can hide my plants. Not worring about flowering right now but will do so in a month or so as it will take that long to get the room up and running. I have everything i need just have to get a 400w HPS and a fan and some odor control. that has to wait untill payday. You all understand. the grow room is going to be 2'X8'X7' high It's going to look just as it does right now.
Well I'm off to start on it I will be back later (sometime) and give you all an update.

Any how taking a break and got the framing up. It's hard to work with a crocked room. but i did it and here are the pics

You might want to flower in your planned veg area. Use the bigger side fo flowering. Looks good so far tho mate

Actually Brum the veg area is only about 8 in bigger. Plus I'm not going to do any more then 4 ladies at a time so that should take care of it.

Wel it's finished for today all that is left is paint and some decoration might have to wait a few days and maybe not. don't know.
the first pic is of the flower area door I ran out of free 2x4's so im going to have to get some or use black plastic which im going to cover the inside the whole room with then cover it with mylar.

To update everybody It's been painted and decorated but the camera died need batteries i will post pics soon.

The paint's not red it's brown some odd reason the pics turned out that way oh well you get the idea.
Thats all done. Don't have to worry about people popping by 1 more week and I wont have to bother with it that much, just check on ladies every few days.
The WIFE will be happy that it will be done. (all the money I'm spending )
Only thing left to do is the wiring and ventilation, thats all next week end I will post more pics then.

well you have been working hard,well done mate looks really well built you've done a great job nice and stealthy to keep prying eyes at bay.
you will have to keep us updated with your crops in it.your wife certaintly will thank you with the money you will save.

Hello all. To update on everything. The Light (400hps), fan (300cfm), ducting, mylar is in the mail and should be here in 3 to 5 days. While I'm waiting I'm going cut holes out for the ducting and to line the whole thing in black plastic to make sure there isn't any light leaks.

Thanks papa. I'll do a grow diary when its all put together should be starting in about a week, maybe friday or saturday of next week if all goes well.

To update. I got the mylar up and running. The light and fan will be here Wednesday so the ladies will be seeing the light on Wednesday and I think Saturday will be a good day to hit 12\12

To update. I got everything today been working all day on it and it's all put together.
As of right now I'm running a test to find out how hot it get in there I'm letting it run for an hour and them im going to check it and see how it is.

this pic is of the intake vent holes from the outside. I did it this way so I wouldn't lose any space in the grow area.
Then I put a board in top so I can sit my tote full of growing stuff and sit my clones on top of the tote. When I get some. Thats tomorrow.

Here is the finished room with kitty litter buckets (they grow good with the right light. ) But any way got the temp gauge going to see what it's doing in there. I got a 300 cfm inline fan should take care of it.

well it been an hour lets see what the temp and humidity is.
Well as you see thats not good but it a mech. gauge and it was hot so I put my dig. gauge in there and see what it go to.

Well I've got some bad news I don't know what's causing it but i cant get the temp down. below 115f.
So I guess I'll be getting me a cool tube. Don't know when that will happen. money thing.

hi Imp , it looks like your intake aint up to the job to me

it needs to be taking in the coldest air you have ... and be about 5 times the area of the outage, i might be wrong but atm it just looks like some very small holes, i think thats where the problem lies

Hi Imp,
don't panic mate re the temps as you are not taking the temp properly old bean.

Your thermo needs to be in the shade as it measures air temps and the additional radiative heat from the lamps will give a high false reading.

So just make sure there is not a line of sight between the thermo and the lamp.

Do that and you'll shave off maybe 4-5c.

And looking at all that reflective material,well you'll probably bring it down even more.

Hey CF, I took care of that problem I now have to holes that are 6" x 12" were the in take is that dropped it down 10 deg. still to high. cool tube will take care of that.
The air is come from under the room and its about 10 deg. cool then the outside air thats the only place i can get air from or i lose my stealthiness .

Hey Doc, yep I realized what i did after i did it. didn't help any. I put the thermo all over the room still the same temp.
What are you talking about the reflective material? What about it?

Hey Black, I have a cool tube on the way that will take care of it, I hope.
Where i live at in the States we are haveing a drought the worsed drought in over 20 years. its getting up in the 90's just about every day and no clouds to hide that hot sun everything is brown.
we need rain real bad.

That looks well cool and stealthy! I hope a cool tube sorts ur heat probs out! What's the noise like when u're in the same room? Can you easily hear ur extractor or is near silent when you've got the room all closed?

Great stuff, enjoyed seeing how well u've done it. It's gonna be my turn as I must sort out more stealth... hehe me plants are just in a spare room and in the hallway... I aint got a room yet!

The cool tube should take care of things I'll post pics when I get it all up and running. You can barely hear hum but I have my computer in the same room, and I leave it on all the time when I'm home and it's louder the the extractor so it's all good. I use to have my plants out so the world could see them and have to rush and put them away when some 1 knocked at the door.
You should use your spare room as your grow room, or do something like i did in there.

Doh, so unlucky for me, the bloody electric fuse box is on the wall where I could have done a similar 'false' wall type hiding affair like you've got. To move the fuse box would cost an absolute fortune, and to have the fuse box hidden inside the growroom not so cool... Instead I may have to just built a cabinet looking affair, leaving the fuse box open.

Cabinets are not nearly as stealthy as your complete wall. Cabinets sort of shout out, I am here, whereas your wall, especially with the 'dressing' makes peeps think its just a wall. Cool stealth mate!

BTW: what animal is that skull from? I've got warthog skull (with no tusks unfortunately).

Yep the fuse box would make it hard. sorry to hear that. Cabinets can wok people might think that you need the extra storage for clothed out whatever. it woudl be alot better then have your plantes in the hallway. True?

Yeah, some sort of enclosed grow area for me would be better than me hallway. At the moment I only safe peeps in me home... but it sure aint stealth... I know I would feel more safe if things were hidden so once funds allow I'm gonna try get more stealthy. But, also, I am scared a bit of coming across too 'professional', if I ever get bust, cause at the moment it looks just so amateurish I'm sure most legal peeps would laugh, saying: this guy is a nut.

Don't be paranoid. Do what's better for you and let the rest go. Hell I've gotten everything for my grow off of the net cause there isn't any grow shops close to me. The closest 1 to me is over 3 hours away. I think the cops have bigger fish to fry then a person growing a few plants of marijuana. They would rather get the guys that grow 40 or 50 plants. I'm never going to do that, and it sounds like you aren't either. So go for it, be safer, plus you can't trust every 1.

Got a cool tube. The temps came down a bit but not much but I'm flowering right now to see if its getting to hot in there, just doing 1 plant, shes been in there for a week now and doing fine.
