Hi all,
I have finally decided to make use of my Bank Holiday and am going to Amsterdam on the 25th - 28th. Problem is I am going with 2 other friends and all the apartments seem to be charging PER PERSON which is a pain because I am on a budget here. Does anyone know any places(with telephone numbers preferible) where I can book a place to stay? Preferably where I can smoke with no hassel too. I am not looking for no 'shared' hostel where others may be staying there. Just me and my mates.
Anyway hope I get some good tips here...
:-)

Hiya Tom.
Me and the GF used
City Mundo and got a lovely apartment in the Jordaan area, but they have all areas, and smoking/non smoking choices.
They also have boats, studio flats, and houses.
Enjoy

If you got a bit of extra dosh you should try amsterdam escape apartments. They have theme rooms with playstations and jukeboxes and are very canna friendly. One of the rooms is called the green room

and they supply you with your first bag of weed, skins and pipes.
just google amsterdam apartments, I'm sure you'll find plenty of alternatives

I will surely report back on my trip though. In the end decided to go for the camping option outside of Amsterdam...Hope it isn't cold there

or i will have to wrap up warm!!
Off topic, but I have been listening a lot to Alex Jons radio show on www.infowars.com, anyone else tuned into that yet?

Coffeeshop Utopia have a hostel type setup but they're all private rooms, 2,3 or 4 bed iirc. Its a bit run down but for the money it works for me.

Just got back from the Dam. Was wicked, ended up staying in the Jasperplaas camping site. Was a real nice place, with good facilities (showers, toilets, electricity etc...) The only pain was that you had to get the night bus back from Central Station which took 30 minutes.
The first day spend in the Dam was great, it took some time fore me to find a decent coffee shop as a lot of the are very touristy and some uncomfortable looking, with cheap chairs etc...
The coffeshops that I bought weed in were:
the bluebird - Jack herer (12 euros/gram)
I liked this weed the most as it was a nice clean up, though it did leaving me walking in circles for hours.
The bluebird is a two storey coffee shop which has a basic interior and lovely painted walls. The chairs are main.ly high perched bar variety which was a shame. They played a good selection of music which was folk/rock and some ambient/eastern music. They have a hash and weed menu whih have real samples stuck to the pages. We took a photo of the menu and a crazed long haired fellow that looked like he smoked far too much of his own gear didn't appreciate us taking shots at the menu. He was actually a really cool guy after we explained that we did know we couldnt take snap shot at the menu....
There was a really cool blonde haired chick working at the bluebird, she was very helpful and remembered our faces and seemed like a really genuine person.
Highly recommened...my friends bought ak47 from here
A place to avoid at all costs is 'Happy faces' coffee shop. These people threw us out because we didnt buy weed there, even though we ordered drinks. Only one word from them and that is c***ts. The interior of that place was quite nice too. Shame....anyhow their weed would probably be crap anyway.
If this post seems long winded that will be the amnesia haze I got from Kadinskys...didnt like this place too much though the bar was nice. Incedently I brought some hashish 'caramelo' from here which was great....quite strong actually
I made a visit to the Dolphin, which was a nice interior and had a suberb longe downstairs where you can lie down on morrocan style sofas, Here I bought some hashish called Zina which is very nice, kept me stoned for at least 3 hours or so.
A place I can highly recomment is BasJoes, a really laid back place where I played chess all day....
Anyway before I get permanent amnesia I better sign off...
