First off, new to these boads so hi!
Im currently growing 10 ruderalis indica seeds from sensi seeds. I grew this strain about 3 years ago, but that was in my greehouse and i had a pretty easy grow a over not bad success. Now im doing it with 2 x 125 Envirolite's blue/white, i know there is a lot of different opinions on enviriolites (over priced and i think anyone will agree with that) but ill have to see about how the plants turn out. In the end im planning on growing just 3 or 4 max under than light (the other 6 plants might be male, or if female ill have to sell.. wink1.gif ). Although once veg is over i may buy a 200W red envirolite or an hps or something..we will have to see.
What do you all think atm? How close can i have that envirolite to the seedlings..atm its over a foot away from the tops of the seedlings, feeling it could be closer.I read someone on this board said 'if its too hot for your hands its too hot for the seedlings' if thats the case it can be pretty close to the bulb then as its only warm a few inches from it. I know tin foil isn't the greatest ( im using its dull side out to avoid burns) but its not really an option to paint the walls white, oh and my soil is 70 % regualar soil mix for seedlings 15% perlite and 15% vermiculate mix
Any advice or feedback appreciated yahoo.gif

I commented on lighting and compost in your other thread. Looking at your pics, those pots are rather big for those plants. It is usually recommend to start them in small pots, then pot them up to bigger pots in stages during veg. You get a better rootball that way, and therefore a better plant.
