Am off to the Dam next week and cant wait! I am a hash lover and fed up of the i get here! Smoked some lovely hashes last time i went, just stuck to the local shops to where i was staying, Barneys, Rockerij, Pink Floyd, Popeye and Freeworld. Anyone suggest some good types of hash and where to get em? Anyone out there same time? Monday to Thursday

the dampkring sells some nice moonshine hash but its expensive.
also they have nice moroccan flavours which are a nice mellow smoke.
they weigh it in front of you and are happy to let you check the stuff out before you buy.
the bluebird has a large selection but Im not a big fan of the place to hang about for a spliff.
maybe check out cafe nes , simon loves his hashish and usualy has some nice stuff.
cafe nes is good to hang out in.
they have a great pool table.

Kadinsky have the best hash in the dam no doubt. Sahara Blue is my personal fave, stay way from anything "squishy" (thats imported by some suit who has never smoked in his life). Ask for Nederhasj everytime and you wont go far wrong. Ice hash is amazing but very overpriced - id stick with light coloured polleny hash.

Bluebird have probably the biggest choice, a bit bewildering at times. Dutch Flowers have some good hashes too. My personal favourite in the Dam at the moment is Central, which is good value and full of locals avoiding the tourist trade. Always talk to the dealers and ask for recommendation's, leaves you less likely to be ripped off IMO. Visit Haarlem for good gear at good prices. Fifteen minutes away by train, and way less touristy than Amsterdam.

What hotel did you go to? I was wondering because when I go i want to stay in that area.

Another thumbs up for Central here. Its where me and a mate bought most of our smoke from when we went last month. Decent prices, decent advice, and full of locals. The smoke wasnt bad either

Speaking of Central coffeshop you absolutley have to try the Manali Charas. It is pretty cheap at 12.50E for 1.6 gram and is absolutle knockout tackle. It is not mentioned much on the boards but is a kick ass stone. Might want to save it for the night time, don't say I didn't warn ya!!

Thanks all, will be going straight to Central en route to hotel! Read some good reviews for Kadinsky so will be hitting there too! Dont know about Dutch Flowers though, hasnt got a good rep. Tried some Menali from Freeworld last time and enjoyed it, nice smooth peppery taste to it! Mmmm.. I stayed in the Bellevue last time on Martelaasgracht, just round the corner is Nieuwendijk leading to Haarlemmerstraart. Gf picked it, was really nice hotel just it was non smoking (only tobacco in the lobby) but excellent location for everything. Going for a cheaper option this time but will definately be staying there next time I go with her. Hope this helps Father

no i kid ye not,afghani black hash 3.50/gram. it took me back to my first smoke of a good quality hash that used to be available every now and then in the uk in the early 80's.
this is just a heads up to visitors to the 'dam who are travelling there with limited funds.i only pass this info on because i love you all Batttlecat1135
