hi started new grow recently and bought a 18 watt flourescent tube and and have had my little babies under it for 1 week 2 days they are growing look fine temp is a stedy 80 just wondering how long i will be able to keep them under this light b4 changing to 400 hps im growing in all mix and just been giving soil little spray every other day thanks for any help guys

Hi 18 watts of light is not much you could do with more light.it will take about two months to grow to a size where you can take clones or put them under your 400 but its better to go the clone way.watering like you are is not good, do some reading up on here.hope all works out for you.

Hi, i would recommend you get more light within a week. I use 2 x 125w envirolites for my seedlings and for vegging. They are slower than hps or MH but they keep the plants short and you dont have to worry about heat. My current crop was vegged for 5 weeks then put under a 600w hps for flowering.. 5 weeks from planting the seed.. hope this helps, Good luck

would it be ok 2 change the bulb to a stronger 1 or am i better getting new light all together

sorry guys to add it is a tube light it was a crap wee 1 from b and q cos other lights i was using caused them to streatch and burned 1 of the leaves

Get some envirolites m8, 20 quid for 125W. use em throughout your vegging period then switch to hps
