Higha Dubi M8 - great to meet up with you at the Expo again. Man, but you really need to eat some pies!!
Anyways... I was also very happy to come away with a few seeds marked "Chinese Hybrid Samples". I have to say, as I sit here stoned looking at them they seem to exude a very strong vibe (

), so I think they'll be the next strain to hit my growroom

Can you give me any further info on them? Obviously one of your Chinese (Yunnan?) strains is there in the background, but what else? Are they likely to stretch a lot? Will they blow my head off (I am sure they will)? Plus any other info you've got.....

High Arnie,

It was a pleasure to meet you again at the Expo!
The chinese hybrid i gifted at the Expo are some intermediate lines from a new chinese/haze hybrid i m working with for the past 3-4 years. The project is not finished yet but i feel the intermediate seeds are worth to grow before they get too old. They are 2-3 year old seeds so i can not guarantee perfect germination.
It's a Haze crossed with Chinese Yunnan. The goal was to find a sat/ind hybrid with the chinese indica growing structure and short flowering time but with a strong psychedelic incense sativa smoke. I selected a very special Haze/China female, then crossed her again with Chinese. The hybrid grows compact and columnar like the chinese indica. Some plants show medium internodes but they are generally squat indica dominant plants, very suitable for indoor growing. flowering time is between 8.5-10 weeks. Flowers are quite voluminous. Apply correct fan ventilation at late flowering, buds are so big that they can mold easily. Aromas are dense and complex, varying from sweetness to incense. High is psychedelic and complex in the mind with a strong relaxed physical end.
Good luck with them!

I hope they provide pleasant and yummy flowers! dubi

High Arnold,
Here's the China Haze mother, so you can predict a little how your seedlings can grow.
She has been moved from indoors and planted outdoors, she has been only 15 days in soil, starting to enjoy it!

Hello maryjane,
it's great to see you!

Yes you are right, it's a compact plant, minium stretching for flowering but lot of incense aroma and sativa influence in the finished product. She's probably one of my favourite mothers. China is an indica dominant plant so it's a haze x indica hybrid. Should finish around late september here.

I had completely forgotten about this thread and PM'd Dubi the other day for the same advice over again! Senior moment, methinks?

Anyhoo
Thanks Dubi, she sure looks a treat.
My two seedlings have been mistreated by me, left out in all weathers in tiny pots of seedling compost; they've had just about every form of abuse they could, but still - look great!
So hopefully this weekend will see them brought indoors, and given full and proper respect.
They certainly deserve it.

Hello anonymoose,
The China Haze hybrid is a long way project i've been working with the past 3-4 years. It has been delayed as i was not happy with the last breeding step i did with the line and i had to come back to the previous breeding step again. Im going to backcross again the china haze with a new chinese this auttumm(i hope this time produces the results i was looking for ...) and test them in winter. If results are positive maybe we share some seeds but we have no plans of a serious distribution yet, lot of work to do first with the line.
Thanks for trust in our work. Im sure you are going to enjoy Bangi Haze. It's a very highly worked line, very euphoric, resinous and fast flowering. Please, keep us updated with your diary! dubi

These poor plants - they are not getting good care and attention! I aint been able to bend or anything for days now due to sciatica and what-have-you, and they've needed watering for 2 days but have had to wait for today. Its taken me 3 hours to water them with a solitary Litre of water. And I want a bigger grow op?? Head, examined, need.
But I think I've got away with it, despite the fact they had wilted badly.
No pics - can't do that just now. Soon as I can, I will.
Dubi - these are very strong plants!! Well done !
