I noticed Homegrown fantaseeds have added a few new strains to their catalogue, especially Homegrown Fantaseeds Cheese.

Would these be the same genes as BigBuddhas or have they developed their own?

£40 a pack. I wonder if theyre just trying to boost sales figures by jumping on the cheese bandwagon....

Anyone have any info on this?

seebass

all of the above are not created from seed selected stock, they can't be
'cheese' as cf will hopefully confirm was from a packet of skunk #1 that were put outdoors
it was kept originally ... coz it stank

BBC operated on a 'borrowed' clone (i believe)

i guess the other's have done something similar

I personally love the flavour of cheese
BUT
horses for courses
someone else put it quite well & I'd like to expand on it a little...

'its an honour to be able to grow the exact same plant as many other growers throughout the UK & beyond, somehow brings us all that little closer together yinyang.gif

Spoke to the fellow at Greenhouse on saturday and asked him about the cheese...

He said the clone was from around 2001 - taken to holland and crossed with an Affy ...

...so it's Big Buddha cheese says I?? ....

'No, It's Greenhouse' .... was his reply ...

..The same - but different .... take yer' pick stoned.gif

i've not seen this G but since it was a mate that took the cut over a couple of years back (here) specifically for his friends at fantaseeds it would be nice to think that they had made seeds ...they've had the cut four years so maybe they did a good job.

Guys cheese in seed isnt compareable to cheese clone form!
Arjan as just feminised BB cheese.
Not noticed homegrown But been thinking this will realy make people think their getting proper cheese when only comes in clone fom!

Id say total waste these firms dutching up our "uk cheese"

I read a thread otherday and read why noone realy likes dutch breeders "now you see why"

I retained a clone a while ago could tell she was a old plant!
