Full Version: Nutrient Deficiency?

This is a friends plant, it doesn't seem to be doing too well compared to all the other plants he's growing. As far as I know, he's giving all the plants standard cannabis vegging nutes, and watering them regularly. Looks like nutrient deficiency to me, which is hard to believe considering he's giving them the right nutes.. Maybe over-fertilization?

Anyone have any idea what's wrong with it?

Shouldnt be adding any nutes to a plant of that age, potting on in a timely fashion provides all the nutes they need till they go into the final pots.

My guess is its fried down to the nutes wink.gif

How old is it ?

Probably a bit of a mutant - it's effectively "blind" ... you never know the tip might callous over and sprout a new shoot .... the green leaf does look a tad over-fed ...

Plants don't need feeding at that size.

OK, thanks for the quick replies guys smile.gif

I'm not sure how exactly how old they are, probably a couple of weeks. So i should tell him not to feed the plants until he plants them outside?

You said it!

You may be able to save it. Get it out of that compost & repot into a suitable seedling/cutting compost & no feed, & don't over water. Then pray to the canna Gods it pulls through.

OK, thanks for the advice everyone. Hopefully the plant will pull through!

Definatly over fert imo as stated they dont need it,personally id be tempted to prick that out and repott in cutting and seedling compost and just water in.908
