thinking of getting some cheap seeds and came across kc brains, was thinking of the leda uno seeds and northern lights but are they a good company using good genetics, i dont want to but a load of ditch weed seeds. if kc brains arnt that good are there other companies that could be recomended?

Dunno about KC Brains but growing some Mandala seeds at the mo and they seem decent. They're cheap too.

hi delta ,i grew some kc36 4 my 1st grow and 9/10 seeds were female and 4 9quid. can't grumble at that also it was a good smoke and yeild .don't let the price put u off ! have a look at suzuki badboys thread he did kc 36 and cyber crystal i think .

you get wot you pay for bro, i disnt find brains that bad,but theres also mandala or seedsman that can put out some good shit man, if you can grow em good virtually any fing can made decent i fink. I got sum nirvana ice nd some mandala safari goin at the mo. no complaints about any seed co but, none of my ledas did much more than pop, none grew, so i used another choice for a bit. Leda Uno is high on my plants to grow list. I read an article from Mr. Brains himself about it a few years back, where he said you may get a keeper that finishes in eight to ten weeks, is easy to grow, and has the most euphoric, smiley happy high he'd ever found. Sounds good to me. On the other hand I grew some KC33 once that didn't turn out well at all, so I turned it into hash, which just gave me a headache. I've heard lots of good things about them though.

im still thinking about the leda uno for a gueriila grow and maybe some slyder for indoors. as a novice im looking for easy growing outdoor strains that do well in the uk climate and for easy indoors indicas under cfl during the winter.

You won’t go far wrong with Leda uno...grew a few out a while back... And a truly wonderful smoke it was…

I really ,really fell for the advert,i to have read the mr brains artical bout Leda's. i just had to have a pack but judging by the results i have had since then with say, nirvana,s ice for example or with any mandala strain. I mean mandala mike says to just put them in your dirt , its just a case of watch"n"grow, how about a tenners worth of mandala #1, cant go wrong for a tenner just like KC brains. Its just a personnal opinion and choice of mine at the moment. Draw up a rough list ,cut em into squares and stick a pin in it, Bobs your'e uncle.

checked out mandala #1, sounds like the stuff for me. the real clincher was the statemennt that it helped with depression and thats what i want it for, thanks deepapurple, your advice has been taken.

Dude indoor I would say to kc strains no chance? But outside Ive seen some great things ocoure!
Leda uno is a great outdoor strain!

I'd rather kc/mandala but thats only due to bad experience with the un 420 hashberry grow!

I grew KC Brains TNR indoors, bit silly i know from the description, but it worked! only ended up with 2 fems that i can recall but that was as much about bad growing and having plants keel over and die than genetics. one was a mega branchy and produced LOADS the other was aot less branchy but produced buds that smelled like tropical fruit juice. I was very happy with both of em. Neither got unmanagably big by any means with a bit of topping.

Hey i'm growing some Kc Brains "Mango" this year outdoors if youre interested. I didnt know about KC Brains being good outdoor until the guy at my headshop told me so I bought em'.
I think most people on here aswell agree that KC Brains are quite good outdoor - specially cause its a dutch seedbank and our similar climates n all that.

Ye KC himself breads all of his strains to grow as high as poss in as short a time¬?
I find that indoors the sativa side of the grow takes the grow to about 12 weeks! out doors cant beat some of his strains! Ive done DD indoors was a nice toke but I know she wouldve done better outside.

Good choice with the mango as if you look at most mango strains it's that 1 inbread! Think you sould get a good smoke!
I have number of packs and all been ok but none will ever beat the kc36 sat dom I have kept! "well for £1 a seed"

But go with what you think dude ! Buy a few packs and pick the best pheno's!
As with 36 I ad same as cdamage a few difrent pheno's from fat dank buds that was over fat to bristly haze like buds with rare calyx form! So I say be selective and youll get a good strain!

I've bought 2 packs of KC Brains in the past, first was Mango, which was pretty much my first grow with 'proper' seeds, everything before had been bag seed with varying sucsess. I seem to recall that from a pack of 10 beans i've had 8 out and all have germ'ed, (still got 2 left) and all have been female! Result! I seem to remember they're advertised as being pretty quick finishers, i.e. 6-7 weeks? (can't be arsed to go check the claims!) All mine went 8-9 weeks to get to 25+% amber thrich's, (which is what i consider just cooked... ) and each one of them has started to put out bananas at about 7 weeks, but tbh this wasn't really a problem.


T'other one i bought was Haze Special, 3 out 10 germed, one girl which hermied 3 weeks in. :|

Haze special is one Ive tryed! verry long timee not a 9 weeker! most go over the said time
