Given that I am only doing 1 grow a year (on my first just now), which size set should I invest in. I currently have 4 BB which I should get some decent trim/air buds from & 2 NL which I won't get as much (very short).

I got the 1 gallon 7 bag set, had the trim from two smallish plants through them already in a single run. TBH, I think seven bags is a little overkill when you see the amount of bubble in the finer/coarser bags (when bubbling trim only). 4 bag set would be nice, 3 bags is just one not enough

Get enough from 6 plants to last me & the missus through the year, also get loads of visitors down after May time so first 4 months to get grow done & dried suits me fine !
