im halfway through a batch of em now.

cant tell you much so far apart from a few things.

there very sturdy pungent but shockingly minature. (*im told they really boost though towards the end).ive nicknamed em 'munchie munchkins'.
seriously , there tiny with little or no stretch uptill half way through its grow time.
its taken around 10 days of 12/12 before female signs really start to show/bloom.

whats more shocking is the fact that the uk420 store are selling them almost twice the price as a lot of other seed sellers.shame on you 420 ! a few pounds difference is ok but £16 difference on a pack of 5 compared to what i payed is laughable !

Hi,

I've just signed up. I saw this and thought I'd quickly reply.

I just started 2 of these and two Wappa from Paradise also.

Yes they are tiny, they are about half the size of the Wappa, and a little lighter green. I did read the same, that they will increase in size in the last few weeks.
I did have the EC rather high whistling.gif at about 1.7 after about 7 days. Maybe it was because the Wappa had more leaves, but it seemed to cope with it better than the Spoetnik, the bottom leaves got a bit burnt, and it's taken a little while to recover from that.

The Spoetnik and Wappa are in competition for the top job, so far the Wappa are winninng just on size.
Both look ok, not at all tall and fairly bushy, but the Wappa's just look stronger and nicer atm.

How tall did you get them before flowering?

i vegged for 4 weeks.
they were around a foot to a foot and a half when putting into flowering cycle.
i had 2 distinct phenos . 2 of them were small and bushy , the other 2 were gorgeous very nice looking tall slim 'torpedos'.
1 of the 2 torpedos split into 3 colas on its own without a fim.
they are very sturdy and easy to grow , but they do worry with the lack of activivity at times.
rather than steady growth they seem to wait for days then ,bang, they have a massive spurt.then another few days wait with nothing happening then , bang, another big spurt.
ive got a couple of weeks to go........

Hi Wilmagrower - I'm growing 4 Spoetniks myself - a week into flowering and 3 of the 4 are over 2 feet tall (I think I kept my light too high) - would be interested to know what sort of yield you got from yours. I'm growing in a small NFT system under a 400 watt HPS lamp - hoping to upgrade to at least one (preferably two) 8 pot wilma systems soon and a 600 watt lamp (this is my first grow). At the minute they seem to be sprouting about 15 buds per plant on average - when did you harvest yours? I'm hoping to have a crop in 6-7 weeks if the online details are anything to go by - it quotes around 500gms/m2. I'm assuming, since mine is about a foot squared (excluding outstretched leaves), I'll have about a 1/3rd of that? And the all important question that's on everybody's lips - what's the smoke like? Cheers and good luck.

Remember - it's not a question of being paranoid - it's a matter of being paranoid enough...
