Hi Y'all

So I'm just about to pot up some Hashberry's and have been looking into soil mixes. I'm not in the UK and cannot get my hands on ANY professional canna soil so have to mix my own. I do however have:

Coconut fibers - a light loose mix which is available very cheaply

All-mix type potting soil (with a bit of perlite in it)

Perlite.

I cannot find worm castings around here.

Would a mix of

30% Potting soil

40% Coconut fiber

30% Perlite

be a good mix?? Or should I just skip the perlite?

Help seriously appreciated.

i'd put in bout 10% perlite 50% potting soil and 40% fibre....fibre aids water retention and airation so perlite not needed...but i'm no expert just what i would do...maybe put some calcified seaweed in if you can gettit.. yinyang.gif

go with the all mix type stuff fella, its good stuff that is plus you dont need to worry about giving nutes right from the start like you do with coco, all mix doesnt need anything added to it at all, i dont understand why you want to add coco to it though? i wouldnt bother
