Hi all, this is my third grow and I unfortunately didnt' get my act together soon enough doh.gif !
So I have 11 plants going which I started from seed. They are 40 days old now. I started off in hydro but 10 days ago things weren't looking that good so decided to switch them in biobizz allmix. I have only wartered them twice since then. The first time with just ph adjusted tap water and the second feed I added 1ml/ltr of bioheaven and a little epsom salt. I realise that this could just be the switch from hydro to compost thats causing this or maybe am I not watering enough? I try and follow the tips given on here to water as I wait until the pot feels light and that the compost on top feels dry 2cm deep...
My last guess would be that I start giving a little feed of grow.
I wanted to start flowering tommorow but would really like advise from you guys first.
I also got 11 bubblegum seedlings started a week ago and I'm really gonna try not to mess up this time!!

If they've had 10 days to put some roots through the compost you'll prolly find they'll start getting lighter in weight more quickly, just keep waiting 'til they feel light, this the best indicator really. Don't really look as if they need feeding quite yet to me. wink1.gif

Thanks muppet, will stick to that then, and no feed yet!
What do you reckon for the flowering, should i start, or maybe let it veg a little more?Maybe even do a final repoting?
The Budmyster
give the plants a chance to get over shock of transplant before going in to flower.

Don't be so keen with all the additives - the epsoms and feeds - Allmix is known to be quite 'hot' anyway, so they'll definately have all they need for a good while yet.

Also, plants grown in hydro tend to have different ratios of root types than ones grown in dirt, so it will take a while for the plants to ajust after transplanting them between the different media. I'd definately leave them awhile to stabilise and sort themselves out before I flowered them.

Hiya mate smile.gif
what height are they? and what height do you want them to finish at? because they will stretch to about double there origonal size, maybe even more!
I take it they havent been sexed either, you will need to find and kill the males as well so that you are not left with a load of seeds and useless bud. however at 40 days they should be showing preflowers. If not then put them on 12/12 for 3 days and then back to your vegging regime after about 4 days u should start to see preflowers which will allow you to sex them you may find that you only have 5 or 6 females, so you'll have a lot more space in the grow room too, so you could also repot them on to bigger pots to give you more bud!!
However if your happy with that pot size to flower them in then wait untill you see roots at the drain holes of the pot, then switch them to 12/12.
hope that helps

Great advise T1neo, I will just do that then:
3 days of 12/12 then back to 20/4. Wait for sex and then repot the females in 7l pots.
Thanks alot for all the input guys yahoo.gif

Will also follow your advise scribble...I was planning on starting the biobizz fishmix around the 15th day after repoting(changing medias in my case). Maybe wait a while longer?

If they are 40 days old already I wouldnt bother with the genefinder method mate as they will show themselves shortly anyway wink1.gif

Plus they have been confused enough with the swap wink1.gif

I'd leave em in them pots for a week to 10 days to settle and fill it, then go into your big pots, stay in veg till you have a few roots through the bottom of the pot then go 12/12 wink1.gif

By that time all your plants should have shown on themselves wink1.gif
