Awwite chaps/esses

Not an aweful lot to show atm. I placed 5 seeds down and only managed to get 2 to pop their heads.

They were germed in jiffy's and @ around 7 days from popping there heads they were potted on into 13cm square pots using Plagron Lightmix. I didn't really water them in, just poured a little water round the base of the stem. They had there first watering through yesterday with nothing but water that had been stood for a coupla days

As ever I am battling some sort of pest This time it is Fungus gnats

I didn't have any sharp sand to hand and keep bleeding forgetting to buy some I'll try and get some this w/e

I will be watering with gnat off once every 10 days or so

I'll update as and when

Have you thought of hoovering them up with a portavac or something?
I tried it once in the past, when they got a bit out of hand (shite compost). It was so effective, I really am not worried about the thought of fgs anymore, now.

those fungas gnats are right little pains in the ass.
i noticed that they like to live under the pots and thats also where i noticed all of there young, you know the white grubs, so what i did was every night for a week or so, i took the plants out the grow room sprayed them and the pot bases with leaf coat, and i washed out the trays that they stand in, after about 10 days i was seeing hardly any in there (2 or 3 max) i then repeated it a week later and voila now i have no more gnats!! i also used a uv bug trap till i broke it i only need a new bulb

By far the best cure for fungus gnats is sticky fly traps and a product called "gnat off". For every fly you catch you are saving yourself a potential 200 eggs in that flies life cycle...and if each of those lay 200, well....then we all know where I'm going with this

Another preventative is to put a layer of sharp sand on the top of the soil surface

hello webby Have you grown out this strain before mate? I'm keeping my nose peeled for a really nice (and heavy) indica to add to my mum-box, any idea on how it smokes? I've read a couple of reports that describe it as quite an 'uplifting' high, not what I would've expected tbh but maybe you have a different opinion.

I'm lookin most forward to it, pitty about the germ rates but there you go, can't win em all.....not fussed if it is a fem or male tbh

Well, outta the two I am now left with one as t'other was a blokey.

This remaining one is lookin pretty shite if I'm being totally honest. She is pretty de-formed and a bit of a mutant, not what I would have expected from 5 seeds, but there we are. I have more beans to put down, so with any luck we should have something worth keeping

The smell is gorgeous tho, very minty with a hint of sandle wood. If she smokes like she smells it is going to be lush Yield so far is lookin pretty pittyful, tho, I am only 29 days in, so have a while to go yet

Well not best luck with sex but smells are like you say.

They are lazy to start flowering but then rush up so fast to build up their thick buds. Hope you get it
