if your compost is ok you probably wont need to use any feeds in veg anyway but if you do need them id buy grow not heaven
you can get a tiny bottle of grow for about a fiver i think bio heavens well expensive anyway

I personally haven't tried bio heaven as I find the grow bloom and fish do the job just fine for me. As scarface says too if you are potting on regularly through vegging you wont need to add feeds in this time.

I grow using only Grow and Bloom in biobizz Light Mix compost and I'm very happy with the results.

I used to use Top Max aswell but found it was a complete waste of money - it didn't seem to do anything except make my weed taste weird, so now I'm a bit wary of using anything other than the bare basics, I might give the fish mix a try at some time though because I've heard good things about it but I've also heard it's a bit stinky.

You need grow as well , bioheaven only has a small amount of N in there and for its price its way way to dear to add the amounts you would need.

Have to say though if you buy some grow and bloom and buy a bottle of bioheaven im sure will enjoy the end product its rather good imo.

As far as I understand it, Bio Heaven simply helps speed up and increase nutrient uptake, rather than actually supplying any nutrients in itself, although it may contain some in small quantities. So it's not really a replacement for Grow, but a supplement to it. My advice would be to stick with Grow and Bloom for the moment.

Hi all, no one talks about the root juice they have, is it because there's no need for it? I just repoted in all-mix and was tempted to buy some. What do you think? Cheers

i use maxicrop organic seaweed extract - i dunno if they are similar products or not?i think they do the same sort of thing anyway
i will give root juice a blast sometime in the future though

I understand what grow and bloom are for, but what does the fish mix do?
EnigmaticOne
The fish mix feeds the compost, it has a slightly lower ratio of nitrogen than grow. This is why I find it ideal for my mums. I don't want to be too heavy with feeds as I am trying to make them grow less quickly than I would like a vegging plant to.
Fish mix N=6 P=2 K=4
Grow N=8 P=2 K=6

It conditions the compost wink1.gif Makes for very healthy green looking plants.

dirtbikeal

I use biobizz grow, bloom and have a bottle of rootjuice.

I think rootjuice is a vitamin b complex as opposed to being a seaweed mix (nitrozyme is supposed to be the same as the seaweed. Ya thinking of that shady?)

I use root juice as per the bottle. 1-4 mils per litre. I only use when seedlings/clones are small. It produces white roots and seems to increase their exploration of the pot.

Biobizz is perfect for feeding the compost and is organic too. Like the experienced growers on here say, "all you need is a little grow, bloom and some epsoms (in case of mg def). wink.gif

Cheers all for feedback think ill start on half stated dose and up it as they grow into new pots , when should i use biobizz grow ,how many weeks into veg? and should i add heaven with the grow through veg then change to bloom in flower,.. smoke.gif spliff.gif
djay
Bio heaven should be started from week 2 of veg onwards , produces some lovely deep green leaves and seem to give a nice boost to end weight judging by my last grow .

I fed 1mil per litre from 2nd week in veg and upped to around 3 mil per litre around 2 week of flower just rmbr to stop using it around week 6 of flower they say .
