About half my seeds have germinated now and put their ickle heads up above the soil wink1.gif. I've already got some root juice to use when I repot etc, but was wondering if it helps if I add any at this stage? I guess if so at a low concentration, mebbe 0.5ml per litre?

i normally use root juice with warm water when i soak jiffys for cuttings, so i did give rj with my first few waterings of new seedlings, but i did overfeed imo(cap-full in 1ltr doh.gif ). so i think the dosage you state shouldn't do any harm wink.gif

I don't use anything but rooting hormone usually a gel. No need for anything like root juice until roots have formed. Just plain water is all you need.

Thanks, but these are seeds not cuttings?

I'd assume root juice will help stimulate seeds too, I guess roots have started forming or they would be dead. Think I'll try a dilute solution and see what happens.

Yup, I use root juice on seedlings, but only after day 15. Give em a chance to form some roots, before feeding them.

It may work at very low concentrations right from the beginning, but I wouldn't risk it. Seedlings are so easy to burn and I doubt you'd see any advantage.

Patience...
