I'd say yes go 4 it as i know lowryder can tolerate low temps,my cuboard hit around 1 degrees before i got a heater. You could always plant half your beans out in april and the other half in may.Doubling your chances of getting a crop.I do think however the later you plant out the bigger the bud will be.

im thinkin of growin masterlow outside this year aswell or LR. i dunno if april is gonna b 2 early unless u got a cold frame or somthing like G said. im gonna plant mine in june i think and some more in july an see what happens. As its autoflowering its only gonna be around for a few weeks 8 or 9 so i think u rele wanna catch the best of the sun so thats july-august. I rekon early july mate

According to some, the autoflowering characteristic is delayed by cold temps, which allows the plants to yield more due to a longer veg period. I saw one guy's diary on another forum and he grew Lowryders in northern Canada that yielded an ounce each, which is well above the norm for lowryder. My advice would be to start your lowryders indoors in 4" deep plugs because AF strains are stunted for life if they don't have depth early on. Then plant them out at 10 days old at the beginning of april, with lots of slug pellets. Two weeks later if you're in the north. You could probably get two or three crops, one after the other. Lowryder #2 is worth a try if you can find it. It is better than Lowryder according to peoples' reviews.

im just looking for an early crop in june/early july. im growing masterlow and lowsnow (LRXsnow white), both autoflowering with about 10 weeks life cycle. i might plant 1/2 of my seeds out in april and the other 1/2 early june. im defo going with the cold frame option, you can get a large one out of argos real cheap

Last year and this year so far are the hottest on record, so expect march and april to be very mild for seedlings. We have probably already had the last real frost. Apart from 2 days of snow, we haven't really had a winter this year. If the trend continues, you will probably be able to start the growing season in mid february in 2 or 3 years time.

i would get them out as soon as, the lowryder is a
tough one might not get a good yield early months
but the earlier you start the more crops you can get in,
but i would put something else out with them as not great
but very easy to grow as you can just leave them to do there
thing.

[attachmentid=133291]Here is my Lowryder planted in late April and harvested end June. I had 20 seeds and planted four batches of five throughout the year. The later batches didn't do too well, the second batch was best but the first was fine![attachmentid=133289][attachmentid=133290]

from your guys experience how long does lowryder and masterlow go for outdoors in the UK?
i think seed companies advertise 6 and 8 weeks, but how accurate is this in our UK climate?
i hope i get alot of seeds from my masterlow for next year!

They take 1 month to grow and 1 month to flower (approx).
Thats 2 months. I suggest you plant out may/june so when july hits and the suns at its brightest ull get the good stuff!!
Plenty of seed banks about matey just type in lowrider seeds in your browser.
Youll even find the good dr homepage with super strong hybrids..
Goodluck..
