I've been producing my own feminized seeds over the past year......what I've found is that if the female plant used to self pollinate did so do to forced stressing to turn her hermie, then she doesn't necessarily have the trait dominant in her genes....thus, her offspring has a real high percentage of not showing hermies.....
If seeds are from a plant that went hermie on its own, under normal conditions and not "overflowered" then the hermie trait is most likely to strong to use the seeds and expect good results....
Some of the better breeders have actually gone thru thousands of plants to find that one true XX female.....
This means that they may have stress induced hundreds of plants at a time through light cycle manipulation.
ie: flip to 12/12 for 7 days, back to veg for a week, 12/12 7 days and back to veg...doing this several times confuses the plants and causes them to produce male pollen sacks in attempt to save its own life and repopulate..... A true XX female will not turn hermie under these conditions because she is a "true" female....
By pollinating her with the pollen from a stress induced female, you get 99% female seeds..
A long process if done correctly...
Put the bitch outside and IMO she'll thrive and reach for the sun....
