Today i recieved a 5 seed pack of Dutch Passions 'Orange Bud'.I decided to go for femenised seeds to save some time but after reading a few negative reports on here about femenised seeds turning into hermies im not to sure if it was such a good idea.Can anyone give me some feedback as to how bad the hermie problem actually is with DP seeds?Am i likely to end up with 5 outa 5 turning hermie or is it just a rare occurance?IMO,You would think a reputable seed bank like DP would of got it right before releasing these seeds,Cheers guys.

Not sure about the femmed beans, but me and a mate grew out a pack of `non femmed` DP/OB between us and tbh the smoke wasn't upto much and 3 fems outta 4 hermied in the last few weeks of flowering.

Needless to say we weren't too impressed.

Thanks for the info dude and i think on that note im gonna jus put em in the bin and buy some decent reliable seeds,rather than waste my time on rubbish that shouldnt be on the market,gonna be contacting DP about this issue cause its not right that they advertise them stating that the chance of hermies is pretty slim. when this isnt the case.

I certainly wouldnt bin em mate, give them a shot cos we may just of been unlucky with the hermies. ;0

I really did`nt find the smoke one to be enjoyed tho, nothing like the OB i`d fallen in love with damside.

bin em? that would be folly.they have to be better than the nirvana orange bud i grew. very sativa and an average smoke. i still have half a pack sitting waiting to be donated.

Ive grown Dutch Passion feminised seeds before (cant remember which) but what I do remember was non of them turned hermie. I had a good success with each of them.

Infact I got some poor blueberry seeds from a friend who bought them from a shop which werent feminised and half of them turned hermie so it just goes to show that it is just luck. Unfortunately no seeds are guaranteed just like no baby is guaranteed. Your best bet would be to get clones off someone if time is money otherwise give them a bash mate. You might be pleasantly suprised.
