hi

im always on the lookout for new bit torrent sites, and just found one mentioned in another thread on here tonight which i didnt know about - tvtorrents.com - great site!! 110,000 users and still taking new users..

anyway, i thought it might be interesting to see which sites everyone uses.

heres my list:

www.demonoid.com - brilliant for just about everything!
tracker.zaerc.com - horror and weird stuff
www.torrentleech.org - excellent scene site
www.supertorrents.org - another excellent scene site
www.uknova.com - uk tv
www.torrentspy.com
www.isohunt.com
empornium.us - naughty stuff
www.fileporn.org - naughty stuff
www.tvtorrents.com - excellent tv site
www.torrentscan.com - useful front end to several popular open trackers

i know, im a bit torrent whore! lol.gif

if anyone is a member of any other good private trackers, i can swap a demonoid, torrentleech or supertorrents invite with you, if interested, and so long as you maintain a good ratio.

which sites do you use?

I used to use Torrent sites but just found them to be to damn slow!

I'd use usenext now. You have to pay for the download volume (like topping up a phone) but its totally worth the 20euros (50gb) when your getting top speeds 99.9% of the time.

Edit: I see snarf-it.org isnt on ya list.

think you got most of mine....

i use newgroups (giganews) also... much better, $25 (£14) a month for unlimited download and speed!

You want to use ratio torrent sites!

http://www.filelist.org & http://www.dididave.com

Two top quality torrent sites!! Hope you like, not easy to find dididave!!!

EDIT: The best package i think you'll get for your money is Giganews Diamond + SSL Encryption $29.99 (€23,13). Use this along with http://www.newzbin.com £4 a month and then a Newsleecher with Supersearch US$ 29.99/yr.

no wonder you're complaining about low speeds! tongue.gif

edit: im fundamentally opposed to paying for pirated stuff. its got to be free!

I was lucky enough to sign up ages back when there were places, all i can say mate is keep checking back, they keep deleting unused accounts, so when free spaces come available, your in!, no point in repeatedly trying, just check back once a day or summit! 34.gif

cheers for that.. uknova deletes their unused accounts every 10 minutes and it usually only takes a few goes to get access, it took me about 30 minutes of repeatedly trying before i got a signup screen on uknova.. i thought the same tactic might work on filelist.org but it never has and ive tried many times on different days too. 34.gif

Dididave seems better anyway, "less users, better speeds"

Only think being you have to have a proper email address, like your isp one!

"The email address must be valid & also not a email address provided by a Free Email Provider such as Yahoo etc. This email address can be changed later to one of your choice once the account has been confirmed and you have logged in to your account."

yeah ive just signed up and had to provide my isp's email addy which i use about once a year so had to check i had remembered it right before signing up.. lol.gif

but "less users, better speeds"... hmm... dont think i agree with that... more users = bigger swarms = faster speeds and also = torrents staying alive longer.

a site like torrentleech has well over 100,000 users and every torrent has loads of seeds which means your downloads are super fast!

thanks for the link though. yinyang.gif
Twelveways
www.torrentz.com searches all (or most) of the public torrent sites for you, pretty useful, especially for the rarer stuff.
I also use Demonoid for music and a private one (Just typing the name can get you banned ph34r.gif ) for movies and games (they only have hip-hop and metal music-wise)
