During what was supposed to be our summer my patner and I decided to start a grow room to produce some super skunk.
The house is very old and has a room wich is actually part of the attached outbuildings but is accessible from the house. It was never used as it was damp and the plaster was in poor condition. A small square room it was perfect for a grow room as the access was behind a cutain in a spare bedroom and looked more like a cupboard biggrin.gif . I enclosed 7' x 3' of the floor space and put a ceiling in at about 6'.
The grow started under 9 x 5' flourescent tubes but 3 weeks into 12/12 we got a 400w HID from that nice chap in Dundee biggrin.gif .
The picture shows most of the 2 plants there though the open door. The colour has been partially corrected in Photoshop but I could not really improve it much more.

The poor plaster was a bonus - it provided the ventilation air intake biggrin.gif
The extract is an inline fan as supplied for bathroom or shower extraction. It's 4 inch duct runs from the ceiling above the light and discharges in the roof space - well ventillated as it is open pan-tile construction. Any noise can be attributed to the oil-fired central heating boiler next door biggrin.gif

The door (left) fits very well an only the tinyest amout of light escapes at the bottom edge. The second grow room will go where the workmate is standing next year.

Back inside the room - the laft hand end is reserved for the fan, heater and ballast. The heater maintains a minimum temperature of around 18- 20 degrees.

Finally here is the big girl at 30 days 12/12 - the other female is much smaller.
The 8 weeks will be up at Christmas eve but it will have to do a lot of ripening to get to that stage by then I suspect.
