here's a pic of the budbox. after underestimating the importance of light pollution i did some work.

iv'e had some issues with humidity and temp so have had to leave the budbox door open. i previously had a blackout blind on my window which was good, but with the window open it was blowing about in the wind and seeing as my dark period is 12am to 12pm for the first few hours of the morning there was a little light seeping in, "ah it'll be ok" were my thoughts, how wrong was i, hello hermie and pollenated plants.

lesson learned.

the solution, i put plaster board over the window duct taped in place, cut a hole and put my intake fan in . then i moved the budbox in front of the window. job done, light tight.

at the mo i have bathroom fans venting it but am gonna upgrade to stronger fans and a carbon filter.

at the last chack (under a 600 watt hps) i was getting 24.5 degrees c and 54% rh but i only closed it like an hour ago so we shall see.

what do ya think?

by the way, i killed that hermie muthafucka and i'm gonna smoke his/her ass.

ive got the same budbox but i use a small cf & 160 fan,
essential equipment to eliminate that sweet smell of bud ph34r.gif

td 160? thats what i'm gonna get.

yep, a td160 with a 4"die cf,
my box sits in the corner & i just gaffered up the inlet panels on the 2 wall sides for ventilation,
this way there was less likely to suffer light leaks. im also using 2 small clip on fans to stir the air about,
placing 1 near the bottom of the box to help bring in fresh air. works a treat guitar.gif
