hi think i got mg defiency can any one tell me how much epsom salts to put in rez please.useing gh nutes seems to have started when i changed to flowering nutes mix so not much grow gh in mix so this is why i think it might be mg defiency.

I go at about 1 gram per litre with compost

Dosage for misting:

1 level teaspoon to a heaped teaspoon per litre of water.

Dosage for watering:

1 level desert to a heaped tablespoon per 5 litres of water.

Dissolve the epsom salts in some hot water first to make sure it has all dissolved properly.

Applications:

1. As a foliar misting just before lights out. Repeat this every three days until you see an improvement.

2. Use when watering/feeding in compost: Once in the vegetative stage, & twice when in flower (day 10 & day 35

Are you sure its mg cos its rare in hydro

But if you do then dont add to the res,just mist at a teaspoon/ltr

Ive also had MG def in hydro because i have very clean water (no MG in it, EC 0.1) and use Canna Aqua which is also low in MG content.

I simply add enough epsom to bring my waters base EC from 0.1 to 0.3 - 0.4 which solved my problems, but that might be too much for all i know .....

This method translates to 2.5 teaspoons of epsoms per 50 ltrs of water.

[attachmentid=119091]Hi walk with dog was cut short, rain.Here is a pic of a worse leaf,must say they were picked last night and were keaped in a plastic zip bag.can not get a pic of plant untill tonight 10pm will send more then.these leaves are from bottom and middle greener leaves have started to curl at the tips and die just tips.

Good tip for me during flowering with hydro is dont cut out the grow nutes completley,try adding .5 to a mil of grow nutes when you make up your nutes,this will help with the yellowing (nitrogen) during flower,still i might be wrong,stick a pic up still at lights on and if im wrong im sure ill be corrected....good luck!

defo not mg def m8.. does look like nitrogen def to me aswell i would empty and refill with gro nutes for a week then empty and go back bloom nutes......cheers
