Cheers conkey,
I might have to give it a go my self. Am I right in thinking that its the stuff that comes in 80 gram sachets?
1 sachet does 10-15 litres?
Cheers mate

Whats everyone else using then?

Well I'm very surprised that no one else is inoculating their soil.

Hi There,

I'm using Just Friendly Fungi from Just Green as my local garden centre had run out of Rootgrow cry.gif . Similar price and same effect on roots. For bacteria I'm using Bio-Pak from vita link or fresh worm casts bubbled with molasses and water for a few days.

I've used Agralan Revive and GHE Bio Magix....though I think that's intended for Hydro.

A delayed reply I know, sorry been busy.

So then this root grow looks promising, but I only seen the larger amounts in the "root grow plus" is that what you guys are using or just the standard root grow?

I think from what I can tell the root grow is for normal plants and the root grow plus is for trees and stuff?

Hi Mr P

Mine's just plain rootgrow, comes in a white plastic tub. I'll post a picture when I get home from work. As far as I'm aware root grow plus is just a larger packet, I think it's the root grow professional that's used for trees.

Root Grow + .... is around a £10 from most places .... I've been using it for ages now ..... Soil Secrets seem to be scarcer than a very scare thing .... pinch.gif

It doesn't have the SS range of ingredients.... but it's the closest I can find .... unsure.gif

Cheers guys,

Looks like I'll be ordering some root grow + online, garden centres around here haven't even heard of the stuff 34.gif

I'm suppose to be potting up to finals on monday'ish so I'm getting bloody desperate!

Thanks again guys,

Here you go. I hope you can see the texture. They both seem to produce equally good results.

Felix.

I potted up to my final pots on monday, I now have tons of roots at the bottom of the pots peaking out through the drainage holes. I haven't seen this happen so quickly before, I reckon it is partly due to using decent compo for a change but I am sure the Root Grow is responsible for it too.
