does anybody out there use envirolites alone as the light source? and if so how do you get on?

i'm using a 600w hps bulb at the moment in a 4ft cubic grow room, but its sucking up the electricity and i'm interested in switching to a more economical and environmentaly friendly source.

any advice is much appreciated. smoke.gif

I have flowered under enviros...your lookin at smal yields imo not what you used to if you runnin a 600W but for a bit of percy they may do...you not gonna equal the 600W though even if you got the same lumen output the penetration aint there dewd

heres some NL to see what you think wink1.gif

a 600w hps will use roughly the same leccy as 3 x 200w enviros

12 Hrs - 600W HPS - cost around £23 a month (@10p a kW)
12 Hrs - 400W HPS - cost around £15 a month (@10p a kW)
12 Hrs - 125W Envirolite - cost around £5 a month (@10p a kW)

Its true your giving alot more money to the dealers than the electricity company.

i use just enviros, never used anything else to be honest and im quite satisfied. as far as i know they give a much more usable spectrum and the only donfall is the penitration, this can be countered by scrogging and shoving enviros/cfl wherever possible pinch.gif
